Ok, so heres the deal. i have an emac.

I can be on the web for an hour at most when all of the sudden the web pages do not open and it gives me that "extraction" box were it wants to down load the pages into memory before opening them. Do people think its some kind of virus? or what? up until that point it will open them fine in a new tab.

second i had to by a new keyboard as the old on died. I bought a ceap usb one but when the mac goes into its power save mode and i hit the mouse to turn it back on I have tounplug the keyboard and then plug it back in to get any of the keys toregister with the computer?

I have firefox and it is current as far as the computer tell me. I have to clear the private data and restart firefox to get it to work correctly again.

Help please ( not dumb help like get a PC people. )

What version of OS X are you running? ( I assume you're using OS X, and not OS 9. ) You can check at Apple Menu -> About this Mac. I'm not sure exactly what the problem might be, but there have been quite a few changes between major versions of OS X, so that information would help me in searching out an answer.
