Name it, show a replay of it or something you consider worthy.

It can be a whole game you played really well, or just a particular move that was crazy-sick pwnage. Replays definitely add to the convincing nature, but we're not picky. Just one move, that nobody else could have done in that moment.

it's not something that no one else could have done, but i was definitely proud of myself when i did it.

i was playing an rt 3v3 and my teammates were adequate but not great. it was on that board that players are pretty close to each other, with 4 turtles guarding the exansion and a mana pool in the middle. i was ud and first went ghoul spider, dk lich. they were putting a lot of pressure on one of our teammates and ultimately he got destroyed, only to be left with a hero.

i teched to mass necro wagon against their grunt raider, hunt dryad, mass spider. normally i dont think it would have worked but just as i was filling the necros' mana at the pool, i got triple teamed. i dropped corpses then auto cast necro and just fought like a madman, 3v1, microing wagons against dryads, cripple heros and melee, pact dk so he could stay alive and dark ritual lich for frost armor frost nova. my allies during the whole battle were frantically messaging me to run, run, run, 100, 100, 100. but after the dust cleared, i actually defeated all 3 players with about 15 necros, 5 or 6 wagons and maybe (in aggregate) hundreds and hundreds of skellies.

it was insane and awesome. iirc my heros were level 9 and 7 or something like that. after that i just waltzed into each enemies' base and demolished it. i actually single handedly defeated 3 opponents. if they were any better, they would have had better anti magic, but i think they were focused hard on power rush and kill.

it was one of my best tft moments just because it was so intense.

It was back in 1.20, but my "most brilliant moment" was probably when I was playing Southsea and he killed my FS with a Boots-equipped DH, but then I trapped his DH in my base blocking choke points with Peons. He had to TP out. That was awesome.

I've had many moments back in 1.16, but I still haven't had time to play lately. I remember one game as Human against NE on Terenas Stand. The DH mana drained my AM bringing me down to around 80 hp. Archer focus kept bringing the numbers down as peasants completed Guard towers in a T2 push. As they upgraded, I was continually pumping foots and calling more peasants to arms as I kept the pressure up. For the time it took to upgrade, my AM ran around frantically. After my foots achieved a surround on an archer, my AM leveled up to lv4. Popping a healing potion, I managed to get him back to 100 hp when !?!?! he's surrounded. As hit points drop I activate a TP at 2 hp when the DH tries one more time to burn him. I immediately target my towers on the DH. As the AM TP's out, the DH TP's to heal at wells from around 15 hp. I'm soloing the AM, so I have no other hero, but my workshop and sanctums have been producing priests and mortars. I come back to Bears/Dryads/leftover Archers, but to no avail, I get out played. The exchange in micro was worth mentioning.

In another game, this one on Echo Isles against NE (surprise, surprise) in 1.18, I get bum rushed by mass hunts about 1/3 of the way through my tech to T2 (no FE). For the next 2 minutes, I fend off an otherwise unbelievable onslaught of pressure. Wave after wave came as I switched from Foots to Rifles and ran my AM in and out of danger, all the while remaining in the red. During the fourth wave of hunts, I militia'd 4 peasants and sent them to the expo along with my two remaining rifles while 5 militia, 2-3 footmen, and a newly built Rifle hold the lines so that my opponent cannot see the small creeping force heading to clear the expo. I repelled the push. A single peasant began constructing a workshop (no more peasants to militia, not even on Gold, but I have peasants building in my hall queued to gold). Once cleared, I began towers at the expo, then, as they were upgrading, I started the hall. Like clockwork, the NE was back, never the wiser (never thinking I had the time or manpower to clear the expo, let alone start an expo). I'm able to train 2 mortars, and the fifth and final push of the NE, who added Glaives, Dryads, and started towering with protectors, was dissolved when the MK came out and stunned the last huntress while Rifles/WE's focused. The NE player in retreat, passes by my expo to see a fully towered expo operating at full capacity and quits.

Just goes to show that had I decided to keep my units in base to defend the whole game, I may not have gained a considerable advantage against the aggression. Keep in mind, many militia died during the siege, especially during the last push, so I consider it sort of like faking my opponent out to some degree. I felt the expansion won me the game, even though my opponent didn't scout it (and why would he, his siege was brutal and relentless, I wouldn't have time to clear the expo and defend my base - or would I?).

Redrag you should post the one where our nub ally thinkpad left ditched us 5 mins after game started and we still won 2v3.

Redrag you should post the one where our nub ally thinkpad left ditched us 5 mins after game started and we still won 2v3.

That wasn't a moment though, that was an entire game. And our opponents were a) overconfident and b) bad players.

When I beat redrag with lawlo LT. Or even more than that, when I surrounded redrags blademaster after he entered my base oom with mass peasants. I lost that game, but he was saying over vent, "your not going to surround me, it's not going to happen" and the following "I don't fucking believe it". I killed his bm then left.

Probably some of that shit I did with Pitlord in the replay thread, I mean those were level 30+ players losing to my solo Pitlord build (hell I was even playing random in those games most of the time) and I played him differently with him almost every game, sometimes creepjacking with hunts and HoT, sometimes harassing with RoF, sometimes creeping with HoT. There was a lot of games and time developping that build to just get to those 4 or 5 good replay-worthy games I posted there, I got raped several times and had my ass handed to me before I got good creeping patterns and good "timings" on how to use pitlord. IMO that shit is the stuff I respect the most, it's very hard to use completely different heroes and stuff like that and use it well.

Anyways, probably one of the most intense games I've ever played was waaaaay back in the day, back when Cole and I played back on BF, and this site didn't even exist. Well, there was this guy there named Zsa, he was the best NE player on our forum. Back then, whenever anyone would play it always ended up being Random v. Random in our games, and we barely ever posted reps for some stupid reason (ego? not sure). Well, we played and it ended up being Orc v Ne (me NE, him Orc and at the time, he was NE player and I was Orc player). So I open with Warden/Huntress (this was before Satinii, and I was using FOK not SS), while he opens FS/Grunt. It was the ice map with only 2 spawns, one at NorthEast corner and one at SouthWest corner of the map, and 2 fountains and a bunch of wendigos. Anyways, So basically at the time gruntapult was a very powerful and viable strat, and I always talked about how bad it was and how a good NE would always rape it, and no one ever believed me. So basically we exchange some tier 1 blows, mostly creeping and a small battle outside his base where I try to force a push into his base before tier 2. He pushes me back, and I see the 2nd rax almost complete, so I know he's going to gruntapult me with FS/SH. So I run home, creep my expand, and tech to tier 3. I then proceed to sit outside his base and I have my wisps all over the place to see where he's going (like I do when I play NE). I see him pushing with 3 cata, FS/SH, 3 peons and 4 grunts. I run in his base with warden+4 hunts and peon harass + FOK his peons, force him to come home. I run, and rinse and repeat. While this shit is going down, I throw down a 2nd + 3rd ancient for more huntress, get to tier 3 for chim + glaive bounce upgrade, and MASS huntress in my base with chims. Anyways, he actually is attempting to push me prior to tier 3 finishing, I think he knew I was going to try for chims. What ends up happening is I delay his push with peon harass, forcing him to stay at home longer, and I power huntress while slow teching. Once he moves out, I'm never able to kill his heroes due to serpent wards + CL (and FOK sucking at hero nuke), but I kill one or two of his demos, forcing him to slow his push significantly. Finally, on the last battle, I completely flank him from behind and on the front on 2 sides, killing all of his shit and a sole chim flies on to the battlefield. He cries GG and I sieze the win. Ahh man, that was a great game. I remember all the obs were like "WTF".

I remember this other game vs. Insuranceman (back in BF days). He played UD, and I played Orc. Well we of course Random v Random, and I got UD and he got Orc. So after a fair bit of trash talk, proceeds to do the current "hot" strat at the time, mass wyv/bat with solo FS while expoing. I was really bad with UD, so I opened with DK/fiend and crept, while double expanding and getting CL 2nd. He gets tier 3 and liquid fire, and goes on a harassing spree, and during a battle his FS gets L5 and he gets those damn invisible wolves. So there he goes, thinking it's GG and running around killing stuff while wolves are killing acos all over the place. So I start burrowing 2 fiends at my main and my expo (unburrowing to kill wyvs/bats), while creeping with my DK/CL and fiend/abomb. Then, I see his expo (he has killed one of mine but can't break the other). He's got a shit-ton of towers there, so basically he thinks I'm not going for it. But I was just like fuck it, and ran in (I think I had like 6 abombs and like 3 fiends or something, so mostly abombs). So he tp's in, and I FF his towers and leave his wyv/bat for last, killing his FS instantly and then picking off his air. I remember him being like "WTF fiend/abo sucks" and I was like "easy to break expos with huge ass abos tanking" and then he left.

Ahh, the memories.

Most of any of my good moves have been done in previous patches and RoC.

I had some very nice wolf force stop move kills on NE DH in custom solo games on LT back in 1.06-. Also had a very nice game vs some overconfident player on LT where I won with orc, though if he hadn't made such a crucial mistake early on he probably would have won. Some great purge micro in that game won it for me, also in 1.06-.

I've had some real nice times where i used 3 grunts and a TC for stomp surrounds on peoples DH/other heros. One move I would like to see is the use of an AMS pot or AMS itself when a spell is being sent (storm bolt, coil, etc) to a hero.

Various other surrounds as well.

Oh and one of my more memorable wins (though it wasn't against some really skilled player) - RoC:

Played a game with one of the WCR admins obsing the game so I decided to do my TC cata tech. Well really there were 2 WCR admins in the game but one left right away when he saw I'd gotten TC 1st. I proceeded to creep the mid trolls on LT with my TC and tech to catas while the UD did some creeping of his own. At lvl 2 with like 3-4 catas I creeped the lvl 7 ogre spot and shortly after got to lvl 4 and I think i'd gotten a potion of greater healing somewhere in there. Anyways I ended up heading to his base and attacking him. My stomp + cata ff took out his ghouls real fast and I won the game. Got posted as COTD (Comedy of the Day) replay on WCR.
