Soon,about 1 month,I'll release new version of BitN Allstars v2.01.The version will include great changes.First is terrain editor,I attached minimap.I made this terrain for gamers,because they'll more downloading when it looks like DotA.Ok,it's DotA style,but surely can not comparate with DotA.There'll be no much doodads,I think that's not necessary in AoS map,but offcourse'll be included.About heroes and abs,they'll be moved to max level 20 with four abs * 6 Attr.bonuses.* btw,% NEW <5> HERO TYPES *.Each ab will be 4-lvled ( excepts the last or how to say else,ab whic requires lvl6) and last with to.Heroes will be the same,will using same spells (upgrated,offcourse) and I'll fix their art moving.ALL units and buildings will be based on Human either Orc.I'll create upgrade of 6 lvls which upgrates spawning units's damage and defence base.2 new item shops with FULL control panels.All items will be customized.

Sorry about that but a word of advice, stop trying to make ur map appear as DotA, people will prolly dl it but this will turn out to be nothing more then a DotA copy, Unless you can really pull something out here.

I'm glad to say that I play DotA NO MORE.I won't copy and BitN is smaller and only minimap looks on DotA.I already said,I'll make this for war3 gamers bcz DotA is "mooooother" :D
Few forgotten words about AI:
You can choose between easy,normal or insane.
easy is funny.You'll have "first blood" after 2mins after game time,They return to base when their HPs are less then or equal to 10%.Will not use items excepts purchesable types.
normal is like an average war3 player.Using all abs,has item set,smarter in combat then last AI at all (I mean from other vers of BitN).Returnes to main base after his HPs are less then or equal to 400 (it'll be little harder to kill him/her.He's experiance will be increased by 50%.
insane is brutal AI.AI will return to base after his HPs are less then or equal to 30% and after his MPs are less then or equal to 15%.At the beginning of the game,maybe you'll can kill him,but wait to see later.The most brutal is that he'll gain EVERY few mins new item (I hope you can translate this).Expiriance will be increased by 100%.Else,he'll not going to combat if his HP and MP are less then 100%.

Glad to accept your Challange, but note that I can make AI for every map type, not just AoS.

hmm... why would you say its impossible? :confused:
as a matter of fact... it would be far from impossible...
depending on the exact rpg AI you're trying to make...:concern:
for some, you can just make it follow one command after another (more linear rpgs)
others, you just make a system by which the AI would follow
still, i'm not saying that its necessarily easy... but its definitely not impossible... (even if you tried to make an AI to play through an rpg...(it'd just be a lot of triggers... still not impossible...):)

In an rpg you'd want to set up nodes for every area..but it is by no means impossible.
It just means having a LOT of nodes.
Still, AIs for RPGs is some kinda strange. RPGs are always equally playable in Single Player... Of course, AI s come handy for a Party Management System.

EDIT:Ppl,I need help.I created upgrade which contains six levels.Because I don't know to work with automatic upgrades,I don't know what to do in triggers.I want to set that each level researches every five minutes of game time.Can someone help?I allready set upgrade bonuses and added to unit's upgrade's options.
I tried this(variable BattleHero is just example):
Upgrading

Unit - A unit Begins research
Conditions
((Unit-type of (Researching unit)) Equal to Warrior) and ((Unit-type of (Researching unit)) Equal to Warrior)

Set BattleHero = (Researching unit)

Then,when I saw that won't work,I tried this,but won't work too:

Just use a periodic trigger and set the upgrade level to current level + 1.
Don't bother with making units reasearch it, thats just silleh.

Another GREAT map changes,I done about 30% and all this days I'm working JUST with heroes.And,offcourse another two problems :D
1.I added some effects.1 ) I gone to map options and I set up weather effect to Outland Wind (Heavy) 2 ) I made region over entire map and made weather effect to Blizzard (Northrend). When I'm in WE it works perfectly and effects are showed.When I'm testing it don't shows,why?
2.I want to add leaderboard like in another AoS maps,so I want to know some basics.

#1 From my experience, you cannot have two weather effects in the same area, one always overrides the other. Never looked at this too hard, maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can let you know.
#2 multiboards are far more powerful and useful than leaderboards, but they are a little bit more complex... take a look at these tutorials:

Normally, I prefer Leaderboards over Multiboards. Of course Multiboads are great to use and a great advantage that they can be minimized.
BTW, has blizzard allowed to have two Leaderboards? I know we can have 1 Multiboard + 1 Leaderboard + around 5-6 countdown timers. Can we have Two Leaderboards? I mean 1 Local (Per Player) + 1 Global (All Players) ?

well, the way that it works... you can make many leaderboards... but you can only display one to any given player at any given time... and even displaying it to only one player would require the use of jass (mainly the GetLocalPlayer() function)
also, the same applies to multiboards
that's as much as i know of :)
most other AOS-type maps use multiboards, (also it'd be preferable due to its ability to be minimized)
and the links given by hooded are great for finding out about them :)

try looking under player - Set current research level.
So it would be somthing like
every x seconds
whatever conditions you want
set integerVariable = integerVariable+1
player - set current research level of <some technology> to <integerVariable> for <whatever player>

ReviveInteger? I think you can use a defferent variable.
Also, 10 seconds id too fast. use 600 or 300 seconds.

OMG,I can't believe what happens!My AntiVirus reported an error while I worked with World Editor and now I can't open BitN,god damned!!!I restored to an earlier time and still won't works.I must delete BitN and start all overagain.Ok,I'll work on BitN,but later,sooo,BitN will be not released in short time :(
Get a fresh copy of BitN from your Warcraft "Test" folder, If you have tested it last time.
