Okay, i'll admit it. I'm playing Runescape.

Yeah Yeah, i know a lot of you guys here hate this game to the guts but there might be some that secretly play this.

I recently had a urge (And by recently, i mean for a while) to play this game. I just remember having a lot of fun memories on this game, and wanted to play it again.

My GT is:
FatCook101 (My Old one with paid membership, but not anymore)
FatCook_WB (New one i started, and on)

Maybe i'll turn away once i see how bad the f2p community is, maybe i won't.
If anybody that doesn't know what this MMORPG is and is intreasted heres the link. (http://www.runescape.com)

Maybe if we can get enough players, we can develop our own Runescape clan for WB.

I used to play it too  , i hit 51 or something then quit i tried being a member for a month, but the game bored me eventually.
If free users got more stuff i would play it again.

Well back in the 'day' when i was playing, I was a level 84 Member or something, and they started focusing more on the Interface and a bit more on Free Player stuff. They had some updates for F2P like a Bank in Lumbridge and new items for them but thats all i can remember.

Ok, some new updates for F2P i noticed are:

New Tutors for new players
Free Starting Items for new players
A Bank at the top of Lumbridge Castle
Better interface
Low Detail is the new High Detail, and High Detail is Uber Detail

Heres a Sing post Improvment, it's more detailed for those who are lost.

That's not much of an improvement for Free World, to be honest. I played Runescape for a while, but never became a Member because it seemed to be "throwing money away" needlessly. I reached level 60 (something), if I remember correctly, but once I'd done all the quests there's virtually "nothing to do." What's the point in levelling once you'd finished?

There is a fair bit to do in it.
Loads of skills, different ways to get rich, there is heaps but i find the game crap now lol.

I still play Runescape once in a while. Not long ago I made a thread here and managed to gather 4 players, we went to the wilderness and pwnt some noobs. They all cried and begged for us not to kill them - that's the real fun at Runescape imo.
Maybe this could be organized again? It takes about 3 days to setup a ganking character which has only either strength, magic or range at ~30-40.

But what am I going to spend the money on? I already have full rune + diamond amulet, which is as high as f2p can go. And the only point in getting high skills is to help with quests, or make money (excluding combat). :shiftyr:

Really? It took me ages to get there; you'd have to be spending the entirety of the 3 days playing runescape, and solely focusing on that. :)

I was part of that PK'ing group. I think my GT was TheAzn_WB or something.

Grinding is one of the annoying things about RS. Some players are really smart, and calculate what they need to do before hand and how they do it. Those people usually finish things faster than those who lets say just mine Coal with no plan on how to mine it.

Once you reached the "top", there isn't much to do. But the thing about RS, is that you can never reach the top. There's always something to do none the less if you are at what you consider to be the top. You dont have to be one of those grinding players though.

My FatCook character was pretty decent, had some nice rune armour, amulets and a abyssal whip. Plus his stats were killer, but i was never THAT intreasted in the game itself. What i did during my months as a member was sit in the fishing guild (Which you need level 64 fishing to enter or something) and talk to people while fishing.

Another fun thing was staying up to 2.00AM going to House parties in the game with my friends. The House addition to RS was pretty great, and we all enjoyed it.
