So, I realised I've been back for around two months now and I haven't posted a single piece of original artwork. Shame on me :rolleyes:
This was supposedly going to be a revival of my old portfolio thread, but I'm sure something that long-dead shouldn't be necroed without staff supervision... you never know, it might turn on you and eat you alive. :P

Anyway, this here is one of my n00bis C4D abstracts. The second I made, actually. I had a nicer looking one, but it got corrupted, so... I had to stick with this one. I know it's not precisely awesome [a tad crappy I might add :O], so I spiffed it up and made it into a wallpaper!

Well, I find the background more appealing to be honest. Seriously, I think that Copy+ paste render> Color> Make BG> Add lil' touches can be counted as finished work. And the render was also kinda boring. Maybe add some extra effects and play around with the many filters that Photoshop has. Maybe add some fitting objects too.

I'm sorry if it was too harsh. It's been really a long time since I've criticised. But, thank you for posting more work here in the CC. I would too, but my creative juices are dry. :P

Yeah, I'm aware the render isn't quite the best... :/ I still have a long way ahead of me :D... Although I did try to fix it up a bit giving it a nice frame. Does that count :P?

Thanks, although to be pretty honest, it's not all that great (it's actually my second render in C4D). Just check the link Aquarian posted... that's the kind of thing that'd make me bow down... if I wasn't so afraid of surprise buttsecks >_>

It's a nice piece of work, actually. But it's the kind of wallpaper that you can easily replace. I mean, at first it's really eye-catching but the next moment it's fazzily boring. And I do think that the elements at the lower-right corner are some kind of weird... good, but weird.

Rating it, I'd give a thumbs up and a 7.5/10 rating.

Please, don't take this harshly. It's just how I see it, really.

It's cool, yeah. I think the problem with the stuff at the bottom right is that the blood and tools and chart are all lying flat, as if you're looking down at them on a table or something, while the stethoscope is at a weird angle. If you could find a picture of a stethoscope lying flat I think it'd look normal. Oh, and there should be another . after the D in M.D. gj.
