This is the beta for a new map of mine, the center of the map took me a HELL of a long time to make, so I hope you like it. I still need to add more doodads and make an obs version. Let me know about any other balance or appearance issues to work out.:)

NOTE: I used SCMD to add in some mineral patches in illegal areas, so you'll have to open this in that program to see EVERYTHING.

Don't complain about my bridges when yours looks like that :P Don't see how it woulda worked any other way though.

Is it just me or does the entire right side of the map look larger than the left? Just a little bit, but it's there. Ironically, the middle is too open and you need more doodads. However, as usual, exp looks.

The right side LOOKS larger, but in reality the right is longer while the left is wider.

The middle is open for balance issues, I just used a whole new method of doing it. This is the beta, so I don't have many doodads (will later).

What's wrong with my bridges! :P I'd like to see you do that! :D

the bridge in the middle looks kindareally ugly. its so...fat. I considered the same idea before, but its just not appealing aesthetically.

And, as mentioned, the two island expos are different sixes. I dont care about your wider/longer explaination. The fact of the matter is that one is useable (you can make gateways/stargates) the other just isnt.

After all the work I put in the middle, I'm not changing it. I'll see what I can do about the size difference, though.

Eh, that bridge is really disgusting. First of all the bridges in that terrain set aren't really that good looking but how you did it it was also really blocky too. There are usually 2 sets of terrain 'tiles' that go together, don't use all the same tile until you get to the end. Needs more expansions imo but I think I just like lots of expos. Well, ROV actually has 8 expos (10 if u include mains) so iunno.

I like the idea of the mineral blocks blocking the way to the expo inside the base instead of having a ramp.

The main needs a wall-able point. The way it is right now, without a choke or high ground, P will be able to steamroll T with mass goon/zeal.

Also, why min block a min-only expo? Z wouldn't be able to exploit it (your main/nat chokes make the placement of a third hatch there pretty much essential).

Lastly, The high ground ridges at blue's main and min only are much broader and easier to land tanks/lurks/goons on as compared to red's. A cliffie at blue's main would also be much more dangerous than at red's, since it would cover more mins and the gas.

The middle area looks pretty ugly (i think it would look better if it were actually was four large bridges connecting in some sort of configuration), but i guess you must use that for unbuildable terrain.

It seems like the blue side has more space (most easily seen in expos). Isn't his main choke also a wee bit smaller?

Maybe you should make that min expo with gas... how it would be if terran decided to fly a command center there?

I also think that you could add another expo if you tried, but it's you map.

The middle isn't particularly pretty, but it's about as good as I can get with the limited terrain from the 2 bridges. You're right about the min-only expos, I'll add mins to block landing.

Chokes have been adjusted and are now blockable for Terran with the standard 2 depot/rax.

I reccomend doing a 192x128 of this, 4 players and rotational symmetry. It would be a really nice map.

It looks very good, but I think that you should add an island of buildable terrain in the middle, so it would look pretier and it will be posible to build in the middle (I personaly like the buildable middles.
BTW, Why do you don't use your Last Exiles userbar Titan?
