Ok, its been awhile since i have posted here so i need a welcome back applause..*cricket chirp*

Fine. O-well. ok. heres the problem(s)

1. Me and my friend are working on a mod each. Hes doin toss. i am doin terran.

2. When we finished our parts, we emailed them to each other and used mpqdraft to run both at once then went on b.net and made a fastest to try them.

3. As soon as we start one of us gets dropped. So its like something is not right. We dont know what it is.

So basically we need help figuring it out. if you want to help. pm me and ill give the mods to you for you to double check with me.

One idea i had was to combine both into one simple mod. But the question there is, Is there a program that can combine mods into one? I tried datedit but I dont think it has any commands for that.

Any help? :D

There is no easy way to combine them, but that's what you need to do. The problem comes from each side of the game having different data. That causes the desync. The best bet is to rebuild one side of the mod on top of the other.

What he said:P Yeah, since you are both using two different mods, it desyncs. Though Im done modding, a program that could put two together would be nice.

Also, don't run mods on B.net. That's a problem all on its own.

Mods on B.net are fine so long as they're not used to gain unfair advantage against an opponent without his/har knowledge. (Thus why both parties must be running the mod.)

Eh, provided that for playing on B.Net they both need the same version of the same mod I'd say that no advantage is to be taken. Apart from obvious mod imbalances, that is. :P
