Well, I'm finally going to quit modding. For good. Its been fun over the year, and I have learned a lot... but its time I quit.
My reasons are just that I'm sick of it. I've ran out of ideas, I cant keep everything straight, its just taken a toll on my 13 year old life. But at the same time, I'm proud of myself. Not everyone can acomplish the things I did at my age.;) But I still have one more version to make for my mod...
I'll still be around here of course, Ill still help. Until Im done with that too :shiftyl: But, maybe I wont help. Becasue I'm not just quittiing modding... I'm quitting Starcraft altogether. (playing the game for 4 years can be hard) So, sorry to all this may dissapoint.
G'bye guys, Ill miss you all, it's been fun.

Technically, you have to be 14 to play the game rofls...

Good luck, Raid. You know, I saw your avatar first before going to this thread. Guess I'm also losing interest in modding since I don't check this part of the forum that much anymore. We all gotta quit some day; it's just sad you quit so soon. Anyway, thanks for bringing us Upgrades and good luck. Again, another modder is lost :(
I'm quitting Starcraft altogether.
Even if StarCraft 2 comes out :P ?

Ditto. Starcraft is not a crappy game, its one of the best games ever. But I've been playing the game for god only knows how long, so I'm just going to quit.
Good luck with your outside SC-BW life Raid'. Just don't be a stranger... and remind to pays us a visit here at the SC sections (especially the Depot). ;)

Thanks Basan, and don't worry, I'm not leaving, I'll still be on ye ol' 'boards, but not as much around here. I'll still pay some visits to the new modders around.;)

I'm sad to see you go. I didnt ever realy know you that well, but man...
It seems like everyone I knew when I joined has left from the MaMD.
Heh, he'll be back. They all are sooner or later. Look at me... was here for 4 months, left, came back, nothing's changed. (Just a few more noobs around than before. :P)
All it takes is an idea and you'll start farting around modding a unit just for shits and giggles. Then you make another unit later connect the two and boom! You're off on another tc. :P

Lol, U238, you may be right. But I cant quit now, my Upgrades mod is at version 1.9, and Im not just going to leave it there, so I have to finish that. But in a way, I hope I do come back, I loved modding but I just cant find any inspiration to do anything...:concern:

Take up mapping! You don't have to leave SC just because you can't think of new ideas RIGHT NOW. You'll have inspiration sometime soon, and you'll jump in. Maybe a new movie comes out, or a game, and you want a SC mod for it...

That version isnt out yet, and probably wont be for a while. Lastest version is here (http://mods.moddb.com/7958/upgrades/downloads/)

Im sorry, mapping is just one of those things I just don't like.(Of course I've made a few good maps, as you have seen, but its not something I would do on a regular basis)
But yes, I hope your right when you say I will have inspiration sometime soon, odds are this will just be a long break.

Your Upgrades mod may as well have been a total conversion!
Well, hopefully SC2 will come out.
