oh i hate illustrator: help needed for vector images

I really don't wanna search for Adobe Streamline so I'm pleading to someone proficient in illustrator to vectorize this image for me (minus the purple background) and then teach me your ways of auto trace

nvm with the immediate help, I found a free program that does nothing but vectors but i can't seem to get it to do color well

anyways, I'd still like to learn to do it right in illustrator :)
