Battlenet connection help?

I can't connect to Battlenet!

I have a cable modem (comcast) and XP2.

I have done the firewall port exceptions (6112) and done the port forwarding on the router (D-link 604).

What am I missing? :(

It freezes at "Accessing Account".

If this is the wrong place, then i am sorry. Go ahead and shoot the newb.

have you tried emailing blizzard? they might be able to help you....

yeah, i'm not sure whats happening either, I've never seen this before.

Yeah mine gets to Accessing account then stops. Mine usually fixes itself after a couple days but it gets really annoying when I plan a huge thing with my friends and 8 of us get one for a big game... and then I cant log on... I'm tired of just waiting for it to fix itself, but I haven't found a solution yet.

Do you have peerguardian? if yes you need to turn it off or exclude blizzard entertainment.
