I love the feel and look of the Imperial Guard. The whole "Glory too the first man to die!" is awesome. Commissars' are probobly one of my favorite units in the entire game. Although, game-wise I suck ass as them.

Space Marines on the other hand rock as well, they're whole fanatical devotion is just plain amazing. And not only that but I'm not half-bad as them *shrug*

Imperial Guard for look and feel. Space Marines for gameplay.

Split between Tau and Blood Angels Space Marines. I play both on table top and I admire both equally for different reasons.

I'm still a Warhammer newb, but my favourite race (and the army I've started to build) are the Tau. Religious Zealots, high-tech and range-whoring all fit my style very well :D

I think 'nids are awesome. Big teeth = good. Big claws = better.

Due to the lack of 'nids in the poll, I voted Chaos Space Marines. I've always had a thing for those skulls they adorn their body with.

If I had to pick one, it would be the Space Marines. Versatile and strong. However, I like the Tau's overwhelming firepower. Eldar are ok too, and Necrons are tough to kill.

I don't see the attraction of Tau. IMO they're kind of bland. Or do all of you like 'em because of their gameplay 'n stuff?

Definitely at first I was attracted to them because they are a very shooty army. After I started reading the Codex and what not I began to like them more because they seem to be communists and imperialists at the same time which I thought was a funny paradox. Even later on after that I was studying a lot of military science and it occurred to me that the Tau are the embodiment of modern and future warfare doctrine which similarly intrigued me, which is where I am today.

I like the 'Nids too, my father plays bugs and we have a lot of fun kicking the crap out of each other. I remember one game where I only got one turn to actually shoot because he infiltrated his Broodlord with an escort and pretty much took out my entire Troop force with it. But I did get his Hive Tyrant with a railgun so that was pretty satisfying :).

I added 'nids, Dark Eldar and The Inquisition (and Squats, but we don't talk about them...). I don't think I can add more than that. I have a feeling he means DoW though, but regardless, it wasn't sepcific enough.

Also, the Necrons had a Titan-esque structure during Medusa V, but it was destroyed. Not sure it had legs though, I only read a tiny bit about it.

Since its DOW then chaos probably aren't my favourite, they take too long to develop and don't get enough out of it, but I only have the original and I haven't played too much, so far I like space marines because the attack and hold tactics suits me well; but I've played space marines far more than the rest and I haven't played orks at all so my preferance will probably change soon.

I remember a battle like that actually, I was lucky that I had my devastator squad on higher ground than his long fangs. Picked them off with krak missiles while my Assault Squads and Death Company got right down to business with their Blood Claws. That was a memorable battle, it ended up being a draw. I love fighting Space Wolves.
