Here one question.Because I can't play many maps I got to patch,so,I want to ask you while patching TFT,have I to patch RoC?
And why,when I download from Blizzard.com it won't work?

RoC and tft come in the same package I believe.

When you patch the game from TFT, it automatically updates RoC as well.

As for it not working when you download it manually, it could be for a number of reasons. You may have to run the patch/install program that the download contains first, you may have saved the files in the wrong folder or need to delete old files as well.

Until you provide me with more information on that one, I'm afraid I can't help. What error message does it come up with? And, if you have the game patched, then it not working from Blizzard.com isn't much of an issue. ;)

Blacker, other problem I can see with that is the patch file you got from Blizz' (http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=mwr0642p) being corrupted (interrupted dl', for example) and obviously don't patching it correctly. And as Red' said, if you got the TFT expansion you won't have to get the RoC patch. The opposite doesn't jive as well, I believe.

To be honest, I see another possible hassle on why you can't patch the game but I won't stray into it. :P

I think i've had this problem. Re-install wc3 into a different folder and call it something different. Only after running spyware/viruses. Should solve the problem.

Do you have admin abilitys on your comp, cause if you dont sometimes that can make patching Wc3 not work correctly

What error message does it come up with? And, if you have the game patched, then it not working from Blizzard.com isn't much of an issue. ;)
Allright,here it is...
My version of RoC and TFT is very old,1.07.I gone on Blizzard.com and downloaded patch 1.12.Because,Warcraft folder is in "D:\igre\Warcraft 3",I install patch in that folder.
After installing patch,I click on icon and it says "Please,be sure that "Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne" disc is in your CD-ROM(something like that).And,offcourse(because I don't know what to do),I insert TFT in CD-ROM and nothing.Then,I must reinstall or use system restore.
Maybe TFT disc must be inserted while installing patch.
I could be so happy if you help me,because there are such a good maps which I can't play !;)

Blacker, to have your game up to date you'll need the 1.21 patch instead. And it's advised that when patching you have the more advanced game version CD in your drive (or CD image loaded). In your case, provided you have the expansion, you should have the TFT already loaded, either the CD or it's image. ;)

Again,while I played DotA,in the middle of the game again that f.....g message about CD.Ok then,I'll buy new CD's and RoC and TFT,then this should work.

As I've seen here (http://www.warboards.org/showpost.php?p=435991&postcount=31), it seems that your 'net connection has a time limit to dl's or something along those lines. You should try to dl' the patch from Blizz's FTP site (http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/war3x/patches/) with either a download manager of a FTP manager program. What those do, you ask? They keep the last bit of the file you dl'ed with'em and keep adding onto it when you're using the program. After the file dl' is complete (aka managed), they simply shut down that dl' link from the app'. Imho it's the best way to dl' stuff up, particularly when regarding large size files. :)
