When I navigate on the internet, I mostly look on Warboards.org and Starcraft.org People like different races. I like Protoss. I like Zerg. I like Terran. I like them all. (I personally like Protoss. What's above are examples of what people say)

There's no doubt that the Dark Templar kick all ass, what with the Dark Templar and the Corsairs. They also have major telekenetic abilities, not to mention zeal and honor.

I have studied psycology (even tho I havent studied enough to be able to spell it correctly) in school and I learned that freud himself created a theory to explain why some people like other races than terran:

These people havent got enough love in childhood and they never got over their analphase + most of them have problems with oedipus complex causing them to be totally twisted personalities unable to understand the greatness of terran (and especially greatness of iloveoov)

The great thing about Starcraft for me is not only are the races perfectly balanced, they are equal in appeal (at least for me) I have always liked all of them. I tend to go with protoss when I'm playing but that is just habit from my early impressions of Starcraft.

Look at my UserName. Now just take a wild guess as to what my favorite race is. Stupid and/or Incredibly Wrong answers will get you impaled with my warp blade.

My only problem is when I start off with a very small and/or non existant Protoss base, and the Computer (I don't have Bnet access) has a fully functional Zerg and/or Terran base, and they send waves of units at me before I can build a proper defense. Otherwise, the Protoss are the best.

Terrans because they are very easy to mod (can give them all sorts of cool weapons without fear of too many crashes).

They also are easy to learn (though hard to master, at least in my view), too.

Although not the easiest race for me to handle, they require me to work the hardest in the start, which is fun usually.

In the year 2500 they have the most deadly weapons but the description to the guass rifle (and other weapons) are a lot more deadlier-sounding than the puny damage it scraps onto the thick shields of the protoss (in game) or the useless putts (see cinimatics in original campaign, i think) they do on zerg. Ah well, at least it's all balanced...

Terrans get delights such as food and computers Don't see the protoss and zerg with these (although i do know that they don't need food, some foods are good...).

I am getting a little off topic, aren't I? Ah well, those are some parts of it.

SCVs are also the deadliest peons (almost matching the strength of zerglings statistics-wise)!

Anyway, I likey Protoss for the unit responses. Kinda silly, but I figure since I have to hear it so much... I'd rather hear warriors proclaiming "For Aiur!!" than cranky vulture drivers tell me they're goin'.

That, and reavers, templars, and archons look cooler than everything else. I'm a simple man.

You could play all races at once,in multiplayer select team mele and then put comps against you,you wil recive 2 drones,1 scv and 1 probe

Zerg!, Zerg!, Zerg!. Lurkers are so coool. And zerglings. Heres my strategy: Lurkers in defense backed up by sunkerns. Army of zerglings with full upgrades. Defilers back em up with darkswarm and eat zerglings to get more energy. Pretty good eh?

Everything you just mentioned sucked except maybe wraiths. Nukes are bad because they are easily countered, and are high on the wrong end of the terran tech tree. BC also suck, high tech tree, high cost, only good for what- late game tvt when theres too many tanks everywhere for a player to move? Even then Goliath > scouted BC.
Ghosts, need uber gosu micro skillz to be of any use what-so-ever, like the queen, so in the hands of people like us, their useless.
And last, marines. T > P > Marines > zerg
I just said all that because in the other thread you tried to come off as a gosu pants.

Ummm, okay. If you leave out the fact that someone could totally lot rush you while you tech to air. Oh yeah, and if you leave out the fact that zealots are almost always used with goons.

My favorite race is probabally Zerg, but thats only because I love mixing Defilers--sometimes even queens (on say a big FFA map)--with my other ground units. And Ultralisks are my favorite melee unit even though I only use them in very high resource maps.

Amen! Minus the rush, of course. Muta-ling is twice as effective if you don't rush with it. It's better to use it as containment while teching to some game-ender combo and expanding like mad.

Anyway, the main reason I like Zerg is because I don't really like the other two teams. With Terran I just can't figure out how to micromanage M&Ms, and how to use bunkers properly, and how anyone can manage to build enough valkyries (or any air unit, for that matter) to be annoying. Protoss just has too many tech trees to memorize and learn when to apply, although I like it more than Terran. Basically, Zerg's main advantage (or its most interesting point IMO) is its tech tree, which is simple in concept but has TONS of possible paths.

I like using terran for marine and tank drops, Wraith harrassing Zerg overlords, and BCs.

One game I somehow beat a guy going carriers with BCs. I had to utilize EMP shockwave and Yamato to the fullest. It was very close.

Zerg... all the way, mess with em with lings in the early game, then attack w/hydras, then send mutas to there minerals, then guards,mutas, &hydras w/dark swarm over em. i love the way zerg naturally evolves its tech tree to the next thing... you can keep you thoughts on attacking while subliminally getting up your tech its so simple.
