Need loading screen help!

heres my ordeal, i have a tga, bmp, and some other versions of a pic i want to use as a loading screen, can someone plz explain how to (or do it for me) turn it into a mdx file!

mdx is a compressed model, and loading screens should not be models... :/

Your picture has to be saved as a targa (*.tga). You have to give it a certain name and place it in a certain path for you map. I think one of the maps that comes with the Frozen Throne has a custom loading screen, so check that for details. If not, you can always search wc3 mapping sites like wc3 campaigns (http://www.wc3campaigns.com).

i formate it to .tga and it is only black in loading screen

Make sure that you saved it as the correct type of *.tga. Check for save options and make sure to save it as a 24bit uncompressed targa. Many image editting programs default to a compressed targa.
