And, as a matter of fact, I do know how to map with it. In fact it has a lot of similarities with SC-BW advances mapping editors and many of it's modding tools as well. You can call it a Pandora's bag pouch, if you will.

Well, these days I don't have much time (what with extra work and already being admin of sids workshop) so I stepped down my position as moderator. Still, November '06 to now was a good run. I feel like I've made a difference. :)

When I first got added to the staff I was in charge of the SC section, and I didn't even own the game! I was actually more of a Diablo player before that, but it didn't stop me from doing the moderator jobs. Now we have a SC vet to do that and I watch over the General Forums more. Don't doubt Basan's ability to moderate, I'm sure he'll do great.

Honestly, I'm great for backstory though and while I can't play well, I know roughly what > what :)

Essentially, if I wanted to, I could moderate a forum about Turkey throwing contests though and still be as capable. Being a mod doesn't require total knowledge of the subject, as suggested by GD. In fact, it only really helps, and a good mod will always be better that an expert in the subject who is not so good a mod.

Basan will be fine.
