Newbie questions

I used to play a long time ago, and just got the game back :)

But I am practicing against computers to find my rythm again, and I have two questions:

1) I thought I remembered a difficulty/AI setting for custom games? Bad memory, or is it somewhere I am not looking?

2) At what game speed are tournaments/ladder/etc. games regularly played at?

Nope there isnt. However some people have made their own AIs that are better than blizzards. Try ahzz's AI to which I cant find link right now but Iam sure ahzz will post sooner or later ^^

Always fastest.

Once more down the rabbit hole...

Is there any way to change the default setting on Single player custom games to fastest? I looked, but didn't see anything...

No, Single Player is just annoying like that. It would only be possible to do things like that with a 3rd party hack.

Do Brood War replays work on regular?

no, but Regular work on Brood War.

Brood War can only play original on multiplayer btw
