Well I was going to go on a second date with this girl I like but uh...long story short she couldn't do it last minute. I don't think she's that into me but we can change that :shiftyr: So I had two front-row tickets to a concert I had to ditch; luckily my roommate and his girlfriend decided they would take them.

It's probably for the better that I'm stag tonight since I have a busy weekend already including dinner with one girl followed by a sorority date function with a different girl on the same night.

Nobody I'm really into though....By the way, I agree Valentine's really isn't the best holiday. Even at this time of year, I'd rather be in New Orleans where they are having crazy Mardi Gras parties as we speak. :D

We sell carnations too, hehe :P. Our morning announcements (which are on TV) had a rather funny skit advertising them ^__^

Valentines day was fun- I don't really care about it but we got candy and had parties, which was cool. Candy + class = uber.

I had a box of candy hearts that said things like "Wanna fuck?"
I gave one to my first period teacher that said "Strip 4 me." he laughed and gave it to another teacher.

So I set up an elaborate scavenger hunt for this girl. I shall tell it how it was *supposed* to happen:

She got an anonymous card delivered in her first class of the day with the basic "happy valentines day" messages and such, with instructions that she should visit her locker sometime.... A small pink envelope was taped to her locker with the number 1 written on it. Inside was a clue, which led her on a scavenger hunt across campus. Seven clues later, she found the last pink envelope in my pocket which had written on it "Will you go to Junior Function with me?" to which she replied yes.

And yes, along the way during the scavenger hunt she was expected to figure out that it was me. And she did (faster than she was supposed to, but ok).

What actually happened was that her first classes teacher managed to not deliver the card, so she put it in to the schools internal message delivery system which meant the card would be delivered to the student in one of her later classes. By around 12:00 I decided to tell her to go to her locker for a surprise since the card hadn't been delivered yet (apparently she got it at 1:45, after the whole thing was over). She then completed the scavenger hunt as intended as her friends complimented me on my efforts as she wandered around campus =P

So yeah, that was my valentines day fun.

I've never really liked Valentine's day. It seemed when I was in the states for 6 months all people did was give eachother candy. =/

V Day ain't big in Holland, but there was a small service that allowed you to send some Valentine's card to someone at school.

So, get this. There's a dude on year older than mine, he's called Mark and he's in love with a guy in my class, J.
Me and my mate sent J a card with the following text:

Call us crude, call us mean, but it was hilarious. He didn't believe for a second that it really was a card from Mark, but nor did he suspect us.
He didn't take it too badly when we told him either.

I ended up asking out my current girlfriend - pretty much just after midnight on the 14th, 'cause I was having an all-nighter for my eighteenth birthday party at my house. We talked for while about it and I finally said 'Do you want to go out with me?', to which she replied 'Of course I do, don't be daft.' Strangely, I didn't feel over-the-moon happy about it - obviously I was happy - but it more felt like a missing piece of my life had fallen into place. I found myself smiling the smug smile of someone who's got it figured out (for a while, at least.)

She's called Libby, she's a bit older than me and plays the double bass. Also she's well fit - but I guess I would say that. ;)

Anyways, that's my 'yicky luv' stuff got out of the way. To all you single people out there... hah. :P

Speaking of which, what is it, ladies? Why is everybody so stingy with the Booty? Is there some sort of Booty Stock Exchange that I don't know about? Is it a bear market right now? It just seems like every time I try to go cash in some Booty stock everything is going fine and then it's like SELL!! SELL!! SELL!! and then I'm left with blue balls.
