This'll probably draw the attention of a few of the 'higher-ups' to the SC2 theories section.
You can check it out, here. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYFGigguQWM)
EDIT: Aint it cool how I can post this on a desolate forum section before the org network happens to catch up?

unfortunately, this is just project revolution and not Starcraft 2.

That's obvious. It's only entitled 'starcraft 2' for the sake of attracting the youngsters.
I just thought I'd post the PJ video here before the org network caught up.
I mean c'mon man, it's worth watching! You have to say that at least. >_>

Nice. I've been looking forward to PR for a while, indeed, it's one of the main reasons I bought WC III :D

Yea... I downloaded the video off Fileplanet or something weeks ago. It's the one of the reasons I bought WCIII, I'm waiting for that or SCIII, whichever comes out first >.>
For some reason, I've been drawing closer of thinking to start modding and mapping WarCraft III to SC. I might need the practice since SC II might be more advance modding and mapping capable like WCIII.

Sweet video I cant wait for it to release.
I'm so lucky I bought my warcraft 3 for like 2 bucks at a garage sale. All I need now is to get frozen throne for a few bucks.
Wan't there already a mod for warcraft that changed it to starcraft?

Yes there is, check out the Map Forge section in the Warcraft Town Hall.
A modder name Dark_WolvesX (or something like that) has created a SC Mod for WC3. Requries TFT though. He is currently on Version 6 which would improve the interface a bit more, current models and triggers.

Yes, I think you can do a Google search and find total conversion maps of SC for melee against other people. But, the one SnowFlake will just have better graphics, full layout conversion, and maybe a campaign or AI, something...

They'll also include an improved editor from the original TFT, and a sweet menu UI.
I might be correct when I say they're even making it for every map available on BW... so it's a little more then 'a few melee games'.

Wow, that video was cool. The voice acting sucked though.

Probably because if they used Lost Temple it'd be a bit of an IP issue :P

Agreed, but the voice acting on fan mods often does, because they don't have the same (or even any) budget for voice actors.

its not like the voice acting of Wc3 was that good anyway, besides we are talking people who are not payed to do any of this turning out this sick thing that could get them jobs with companies like blizzard, later in life potentially.

If you look up 'project revolution' on youtube and scroll down through some useless completely unrelated shit that happens to pop up, you'll find a video of a test of that very same map in 2 different parts. It's pretty cool actually, except the units tend to not respond, the siege tank's arclite cannon points in the opposite direction when firing, and micro isn't nearly as accomplishable, along with the fact that enemies don't die as quickly due to aiming, damage to 'armor' ratio bugs, splash/semicircle damage bugs, etc.
Nevertheless, the graphics are pretty damn colorful and the completed design will most likely look more enthralling then your typical 2d match. I especially liked the firebat's flame... it's just fuggin beautiful to see that thing shoot out.
You even get a peek at the new UI, sound effects, and some of the menu-music they made themselves... along with a nifty battlenet UI you catch a glimpse of as the player scrolls through, similar to the icons of what WC3 has with the leveling up for every game you win (only I imagine, terran players get a 'rine instead of a footman/rifleman that human players from warcraft recieve; zerg get zerglings for tier 1 icons, etc.).
EDIT: You might be correct Wehr. :P
