View Full Version : Why 60 seconds time limit for pm'ing?

This is annoying: when pm'ing, you must wait exactly 60 seconds before posting a second pm. If you don't, something like the following message pops up: The administrator has specified that members have to wait 60 seconds before posting a second pm. Why?
To prevent PM spam, I guess. 60 second limit doesn't matter when using PM's the 'normal' way, i.e writing the messages instead of copypasting =)

That, and so two messages don't get sent accidentally when somebody gets impatient and clicks the "Send" button more than once.

It shouldn't really be a problem. Atleast I never had that problem.

That's new in vB3..... Also, bots and AutoIT scripts can do that automated PM thingy. That helps stop it.
