Hey folks,
I realize of course that people may not want to read about my terribly uninteresting life, or at least to only a small extent, but I'm somewhat bored right now, and I also feel that at least some of you deserve an update, so here it comes.
I moved into an apartment/flat/condo/whatever you call it january the 8th. I was due to get internet on the 22nd, which is why I was absent from here (now, some of you can pretend to have noticed ;)). Anyway, the story about that internet connection is getting long and it's pissing me off.
On january 22, he couldn't connect me because there were no signal in the cable (yeah, this is a cable connection). I then had to call the guy who sold me the place, and he sent me an electrician. This guy, however, could not fix anything - or so he claimed - but he did get me a cable-fixing-man. He did his thing rather admirably, so now I have a cable with signal. Then, I had to call the installers to get them to come by again, so I got an appointment this last wednesday, which is about 2 weeks after I was supposed to be online. The asshole didn't show up, so I called their offices again, to get a new appointment today, this morning. AGAIN, he didn't show up, but at least this time they found out, and fixed me up another appointment later on the day. THIS person showed up all right, but still failed to install the modem, due to some unknown error he didn't understand. So now his supervisor is coming by on monday to see what might be wrong... A nice three weeks after everything was supposed to be fine. I swear, I'll get an axe and trash their offices soon...
So that's why I've been a little absent. Not the only reason, surely. I'm busier than ever before. The workload is humungous, and strictly speaking, I'm doing more voluntary work than I should, both of reasonable and unreasonable nature. Mostly reasonable though, I guess.
I also have a new GF... so that's really cool. By the way, it's over with the last one... if you didn't get those news. Oh, and I guess I didn't exactly broadcast that I had a GF in the first place either. Oh well.
Anything else? Uhh... I think not. But at least this made me waste some time. I'm gonna be drunk tonight, and even drunker tomorrow. But without internet, I guess you won't have to worry about drunken threads from me. :D
Sooo... I kinda like love you all and stuff... :P, and ... if SOMEONE can do their JOB RIGHT, maybe I can post more regularly again soon!
