Account Muted

I made a new account today and logged in, to find out my account had been muted. I haven't played in close to a year, so how could this have happened? I tried making new accounts, reinstalling, siwtching computers, switching gateways, switching emails, all that, and it's still muted. All my chat privelages are gone. What should I do?

The only thing you can really do. Send an email to blizzard support and ask if they'll unmute it. If you just made it I'm not sure why it would be muted but that's about all you can do. That and stop using the hacks you used a year ago :P

yea but that's $10 he could save if he asked blizzard 1st.

Ask to unmute.

and if that doesn't work..

Get a new one. (aka: buy a new starcraft CD)

I've always been curious as to how they go about muting accounts. They seem to mess up quite a bit with a few of my friends, but that's to my knowledge. Seemingly innocent people have been muted for reasons that seem unlikely. You could, indeed, send an email to blizzard (Assuming they get it, and take their sweet time reading it), or get a new cd key. Just be aware that if you plead your case to them, you could possibly have to a wait a prolonged amount of time.
