Bungee jump, 200 feet above Manchester. Naught but a rubber band holding me to the giant erection I was jumping from.
Also sleeping outside on a trampoline with five of my mates in the middle of summer was fun, too. Specially when I had the college hottie snuggling with me! :D
Edit: Did I say 'erection'? I meant 'crane', of course.

Threesome. ;)
I'm not even kidding. Though I guess that wasn't the coolest thing I've ever done. Just the thing people like hearing about the most.
Actually...I've crossed the Capilano suspension bridge, though lots of people have done it, gone on cross-country road trips with my family, camped in a tepee and shot off fireworks (not while in the tepee), spent a day alone with my cousin in an unfamiliar city in Canada, gone on a walking tour of NYC, floated down the San Marcos river on inflatable mattresses, gone streaking through the woods with my best friend, thrown pottery and then fired it, taught a family of refugees English, and watched them learn more and more, built sandcastles for competitions, worked at the food bank, I don't know, I've done a lot of interesting things. They're all different, so it'd be hard to say which one was the best.

Went snowboarding on the steepest hill (illegal). Hit a piece of plywood and flew over the road at the bottom. Then landed and whipped out resulting in a broken leg and sprained ankle. It was worth every minute though :D

For a friend? Hmmm. Nothing comes to mind really...
The coolest thing I myself have ever done was catching this killer wave off the coast of Ireland. Oh man, that was something else.
I haven't done anything cool for a friend as of late due to work and other obligations but the coolest thing iv ever done would be rocking out with my mates.

For a friend? Well...
I got a military helmet for a friend for christmas. He deserved one. :)
I also threw a surprise birthday party for this real shy girl. She was shocked, but happy.

Well, I don't do alot of these things, but lemme edit the question. 1 STUPID thing I have done is stick a buttered/peanut buttered toast into a PS1. I think it may have been a donut.

I've been skydiving, whitewater rafting and kayaking, I've travelled to a couple dozen countries all around the world, and I've eaten fabulous five-star, twelve-course meals but the coolest thing I have ever done would probably be caving at Craters of the Moon in Idaho.
Spelunking, as some call it, is so much fun and if any of you ever get the opportunity I urge you not to pass up on the offer. This particular time I was on a trip out West seeing Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, etc. Craters of the Moon is a huge lava field (hundreds of thousands of acres) in the middle of the desert on an old "hot spot." Lava flows would come out of the ground, huge thick streams of molten rock. As they flowed across the surface of the earth, the outside would cool and harden, while the inside would keep flowing, so you have these huge shell-like caves that are formed. And I crawled all around inside, miles and miles of tunnels (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lava_tube).
I also have a greater appreciation of these lava fields because both my parents did a lot of graduate research on the "kipukas" which is a Hawaiian word for an oasis of interesting plant and animal life in the middle of a barren lava field. So they tell me all about it.
Pissed on a bush while walking to the mailbox.
yyeeaaaa, i have no life... gotta work on that >.>
The coolest thing you've ever done for a friend is to be modest about it and keep a lid on it. Only him/her and you should know what you did for them.
That's my way of seeing it, anyway. ;)

Oh, my bad. "To a friend," I totally missed that part.

I really don't see the hassle of it. As if it was the 1st time a thread here got somewhat sidetracked. :)

While drunk, I strip danced for the girl I fancy. From what I gathered, she liked it, but decided it would be better if we stayed "just friends"
Cookie if someone tells me what the fuck I did wrong ;)

Hmmm... I haven't done to many cool things worth mentioning me thinks. However the coolest thing I've seen/heard had to be at my graduation from basic, and hearing about a thousand new Airman all take the oath of enlistment, in our blues in front of our families on the 28th of October in 2005. No matter where I go or what I do I will never be able to forget that moment. A close second is the week before when I was first called an Airman by my TI and then he shook my hand.

The coolest thing I've done for somone else would be either work for four weeks without pay, or go for two days without food or sleep.

coolest thing i ever did with a friend was build a giant igloo together. one day after a big blizzard, we found the biggest snowdrift we could, which happened to be behind our old elementary school. this thing was probably four or five feet tall. we started at either end, digging a huge tunnel until we met in the middle. it literally took all day, digging with just our hands, but by nightfall we had a nice little room in there. :)

The coolest thing I ever did for my home girl Darlene was when I bought her a black and white electric guitar along with an amp, cord, picks, a book, and cd for Christmas about three years ago. It was something she had been wanting for the LONGEST time but she couldn't get it for herself. So I got it for her :)
She was sooo happy it made her cry :D Seeing her that happy was my gift--I love making my friends happy by giving them things they've always wanted :)

No. You get a free date with me. Yay >_>
Hmmm... I just noticed this is the coolest thing you've ever done TO a friend. Funny, most of us can't read, huh? :P
Can't say there's one, single most commendable act of heroism, selflessness and whatnot that I've done for someone... but I like to help out with the little things every time I can. Most of my friends know they can count on me whenever they need it :)
Except you, kongurous. You can choke to death for all I care ;)

Fender Strat Pack?

No it was a Behringer Starter Pack :) It looks just like a Strat though.
After that, since we were in our "Girl Band" phase, lolz--I went and got myself a Dean Evo XM electric guitar: http://img3.guitarcenter.com/dbase/pics/products/5/4/0/276540.jpg
So then we started writing songs and jamming--She really appreciated her gift :)
