The WarBoards Bets!

As you should all be aware, the third annual WarBoards Awards are in progress, which is where AJ entices members to flood him with private messages so he can feel loved when he logs in and sees he has fifty new messages.

So I figure, let's place some bets. In the spirit of keeping this fun you don't have to gamble anything to take part, but I'll give the winner something like a coloured user title or something. Hey, it's better than a slap in the face with Black.Ice's leather accessories. Unless you're into that sort of thing, I suppose.

So here's what you do. Below are listed all the nominations for each category. You are to pick one and only one of the nominees that you think will win that award. Your choices are completely independent of anyone you may have nominated or voted for, so choose who you think will win, and not who you want to win.

Oh yeah... obviously this means you can pick yourself. You might look a bit silly if you don't win, though. ;)

You may only bid once, but you are allowed to edit your post anywhere until the winners are announced. Posts edited after winners are announced will be disqualified, for obvious reasons.

Scoring is straightforward - if there are N nominees for a particular category and you pick the correct winner, you get N points. If you do not pick the winner, you get zero for that category. So picking winners from categories with lots of nominations gives you more points. The winner is the one with the most points. There can be several winners, obviously.

If you put more than one nomination down for a single category, you automatically get zero for it - even if one of them was the winner.

Additionally, if your name is AJ you are to bugger off right now, because you can't play this game for obvious reasons :P

The later you place your bets, the more likely you are to get them right. Just see who the majority of people betted on, and bet on them. Cause the person with the most bets on them has a very very good chance of also winning the award. Makes sense, no?
