View Full Version : Unable to Update/missing Gnoll Wood

I recently tried to update to the newest virsion of warcraft 3 battlenet.

When it was installing, after i finnished downloading it, it said that Gnoll Wood was missing and it couldn't update.

Is there a place that i can download the map Gnoll Wood?

Most likely the update process was corrupted in the middle thus explaining the lack of said map. Just try to get the update file (http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=mwr0642p) itself instead. ;)
Side note: I always did, n' still do, that anyway (with the help of a dl' manager).

Still doesn't work. I get this:

It has told me before I do not have gnoll wood and its not in my map folder.

Says I need to reinstall warcraft 3. But is there a way to uninstall just the frozen throne? I don't have the war3: ROC disk anymore. How can I fix this?

I'm guessing that you should be able to just reinstall TFT without including ROC.

Don't you have to have the first one to install the expansion of any game?

I'll try it but doubt it will work.

yea, just tried and as thought, it didn't work.

I mean WTF, do I have to buy it agian to use it? Isn't there was way around it?

What happened to your ROC disk? If you've given it to someone, demand that they return it to you.

It's pretty cheap now a days, you can get another copy.
