The ultimate cheap pyro tool. Very fun for fourth of July celebrations. Warning use of hair spray may result in combustion of your hair. WEAR A HAT AND GOGGLES!

Yeah. I really want to try that now. It's so simple, yet it creates such an explosion of light. The hard part is finding a place to do it. Awesome :P

Wow, amazing. I don't have sound on this (useless) laptop so I might have missed it, but what exactly is that stuff? Is there anywhere you could buy it?

It's just steel wool, try Walmart or Target if you're in the US. Pretty cool shit.

Pretty cool! Ill have to save this link somewhere. The only bad thing is that the cops would get me if they saw it. And with the city I live in, I'd be fined so much :concern:

Lol I have a park infront of my house XD So out in the middle of the night there its fine. If you have any family in the country thats the best place for it. As long as the grass ain't to high unless you wanted to be cremated rather then buried >.>

Edit: Its very FINE steel wool. Also check the chemical make up for different colors. I think a good amount of Zinc in it gets either green or purple.

Wow, steelwool burns? Damn, I'm gonna try that out!

That's wicked. I don't think I'm going to try it any soon though.

Also the ending was quite amusing ;)

Amazing looking SFX's. :) Although also somewhat dangerous if you're not cautious and that's why metal fires (aka in granulated or thin wired form) are ones of the few that I fear the most if facing it professionally. It needs special types of extinguishing means to effectivelly putting'em it out (considering they react with many of the regular extinguishing means). :P

Ahhh that's a great thing about living in the country. The middle of nowhere.

I think I've found my 4th of july experiment. :D

And what might those "special types of extingguishing means" be? Just for procautionary purposes of course. :P

Provided you'd just humoured me, there (http://www.bfpe.com/fe_classd.htm) ya go. My trade at work. :)
Info side note: The D type is mainly for some kinds of plastics and granulated metals.

For the common fires (other solids, liquids and gases), just get an ABC fire extinguisher. But prepare yourself to spend some hard time cleaning it after used.
