Im just curious, how many people have a TI calculator of some sort. I have a TI-84 SE. If anyone has any great games for a TI-83, 83+, or 84, please post them here in a .zip file. I have one I want to post, but I currently dont have the cord or the software...

I have a TI 84 Silver edition. I used to have a good game on it called Pheonix, but I deleted it because I was playing it too much during school, and wasting all the battery. There is a good site with a lot of games but I forgot the address.

I had a TI-83, but its games were shitty even by Nintendo standards. There's only so many calculator games that I can play before I realize I'm wasting my fucking time.

yeah, pheonix is alright, I have 5 versions of that game. that game is fun and takes a lot of hours of free time (very addictive)

Funny you should ask, because I was just about to post a thread like this. Yes I have a TI-84 Plus, and have absoloutely no games. I have a bunch of programs I made myself, but they are more useful for help in math work and such.

I have a TI-89 Titanium. Never thought to put games on it. I figure if I'm using it, I won't be playing games, and when I'm not using it surely I can find something better to do than play calculator games.

well, for people still in school and have boring teachers, you need something to do on downtime

There is a lot of nerds here, what happened to sneaking vodka in a waterbottle, I used to do that in school, of course I think I am one of the very few people who can do that without comprimising my academic ability. Without alcohol I would draw while talking, most teachers don't tolerate talking but it is easily achieved through getting the whole class to slowing start talking while avoiding getting in trouble yourself, usually if you start talking about the subject then the rest of the class will start talking so your free to talk about whatever you want.

well I think talking about a calculator would qualify you as a geek and not a nerd. cause geeks get it done and nerds dont.

Wow, OK, so what happened to just going to school and fucking off? What's with all this pseudo-Machiavellian horseshit? Getting into trouble in high school really isn't worth attempting to subtley manipulate the masses into a giant insurrection of coverthineass. But then, if you're bringing alcohol to school, you're probably not the brighest crayon in the box anyway.

true that. yeah, i quoted that from a earthlink commercial. Its just funny cause they didnt mean that. they had to say something cause they know they're not the best around.

They put games on calculators?

I guess paperback books are too old fashioned these days?

no, paperback books are still cool, its just that you cant really get in trouble for a calculator cause you need it in class. paperback novels though, teachers are always like "pay attention!!" all the time, even when youre doing nothing

I did plenty of fucking off at school but there is the slight thing of the roll call, getting people to talk is hardly a master stratergy in deceit and it would really defeat the purpose of trying to kill an hour if I had to make it up.

I have a TI-83+, however I haven't used it since I was at school. After a while I deleted all the games on it, but they're still on my computer. No, I did not have all of them on at once. That would have used up too much memory. :)

Well, there was one, which was a real-time strategy, and I couldn't figure that out. The other one was a TBS and was really easy and not bad actually.

ticalc is by far the best, with not just games, but progs, applications, and OSes.
