The facts are as follows.

1) Yes, I posted a laim auction to get money.

2) I invited people to bid on it.

3) I told people it was a stunt to get money because i was out of work for four months and needed a way for some fast cash.

4) started the bidding at 99 cents so i was only out 20 cents for the posting.

5) never did I force anyone to post.

5) Although it was as it was by bidding on it under ebay rules it is a binding contract.

should i

1- bad post the ass for being dumb and entering into a contract he had no intention of honoring even though he knew the rules

2- Publicly just call him an idiot

3- leave it alone taking some moral high ground.

4- other?

please poll it and give me the other in post if it isnt a lame stupid anoying post.

Where's the "shut the hell up" option? I can't believe you're making so much fuss over a fake ebay listing.

a contract is a contract. and your bidder defaulted on it. so i say go with the first option

First option; as you can get your final value fees back.

Man GD, you've become really bitchy lately. :/

I'd say go with the first option, but from what I can see it was a pseudo-account anyway. You made a bullshit listing to try to get money, they made a bullshit reply. You can do whatever you want about filing with eBay, etc. but you won't get any money out of it.

If you're seriously hard up for money, you need to get a job, not try clever eBay postings and chasing down users over a couple of bucks.
Man GD, you've become really bitchy lately. :/
I continue to posit that it's the meds.

Who was the idiot who bid on this anyway? Make him pay through his nose.

Er... what was the item, anyway? It's really hard to give you an adequate reply without knowing the details.

With eBay, they only allow selling if you actually have something material to send to the winning bidder. If you just made an auction with an imaginary thing and then go complaining to them, they'll simply delete your auction.

Your mood will only improve when you lay off that Ferret Pee or whatever it's name is. Odd slovak booze o_O

LOLL, to be fair i did not put in the item so as to let you all use your nogggins and figure it out. Its in the forums. <grin> As for GD, damn man i have some pills laying around, send em to ya if you want. ya bitch. < j/k >

I obviously wanted to see what you all would do, I have my own thought but was interested to see what the populace had to say. And i got a job GA, I just happen to live in a crappy state. I'm looking fr a better one already but with phiser just going and closing its whole center here, my odds are slim.

@ Schwitzer: He was selling his "Air Guitar" only played like four times with his "invisible" case that went with it, lolz.

I bidded on it to be stupid and if LQ actually approached me for the dollar something I bid on it, I would have honored that contract because I knew what I was getting myself into :P

But this person....Man. I'm unsure. If you approach them for the fifty bucks they owe you--They would legally HAVE TO pay it. But then you could leave it alone because it IS an air guitar :P

It's your call friend.

I would say leave it alone. It was a mock auction, so maybe they assumed it was a mock bidding as well?
