I made a haiku about a cow:
Look a nice fat cow
It sits and it eats all day
Until it gets KILLED

Haikus are cool, if you take them seriously.

It all depends on how you pronounce it, you dirty yankee.

Listening to Jazz
In my dim-lit room.
I hear the rain fall.
Bah, humbug. :P

I mutter dissent
Haiku's are really easy
try something harder
A sonnet would do
you would have to rhyme in those
rhythm is needed

I actually made a sign advertising t-shirts at the café where I work, it says:
This is not haiku
(raspberry cream soda)
Buy a new t-shirt
I was super proud of it, but then I was disappointed, most of my co-workers didn't know what haiku was, so they didn't get it. I was like "ughhhh." :/

Or move to game room.

I love haikus.
TD, niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.
I remember the days of being irritated and disappointed by artistic expression going over people's heads. T_T Over the years, I have come to appreciate it without needing others to do so. I wish you luck in the endeavor, 'cause it took me like 10 years to finally get to this point. Nirvana: totally worth it.
I've got a book of the Big Four doing haikus, and it's pretty good. Although, the one that's talking about some monk's floppy balls (I kid you not) was extremely weird and arbitrary. O_o

Genocide, I totally think that you're a poetry bigot. :D j/k, that's okay, because I'm that way about drill team (NOT CHEERLEADING!!! IF THERE'S POM-POMS INSTEAD OF RIFLES, IT'S NOT REAL DRILL!).
Anyway, how can somebody not know what haiku is? They teach it in school. I'd totally buy one of those T-shirts, Tiny.

Yeah, I make no bones about it, I'm pretty bigoted. I guess it's because I hold Robert Frost in such high regard, and imitations seem like macabre parodies.
