Are you an Offensive Defensive player, and what aids you the most for your choice?

I myself, am a defensive player. Not so much that I get whiped out in the first few minuets but enough that I choke you out from resources cripling you from threatening my force at all. My biggest help here? bunkers. A little pansyish i know but at the beginning if u load up 3 bunkers with 4 mareince at every opening you can hold them off enough to whip up a few seige tanks to aid in your mission.

i would say it depends on what race im playing
ZERG: offensive you just have to be if you want to win right
PROTOSS: a bit more defensive so i can build an army with templar and carriers
TERRAN: a combo of both offensive and defensive

Terran, early game I play defensively. Middle game, I build. Late game, I attack.

im usually defensive. terrran bunkers with huge batch of siege tanks and missile turrets behind them can stop almost anything.

im not sure but i think guardians attack rage is bigger then the turrents not quite sure though

Yah, Guardians would reduce that defense to dust eiher way. Unless you had a couple of Valkeries that could run out and chase them away.

I love to play defencive, make myself a nice big fort. I usually loose but it is always fun ^^

Yeah. Very funny when your enemy run away or die. Use Goliaths combo with tank or use Valkeries combo with them.

I play D over O. I don't know why, which it's a bad strategy, but more of the time, I play like 3 vs 5 comps. That's not exactly uber hard if you know how to beat computers, but I'm no 1337 player. That's why I play D, because I'm good at it. My friends usually go Offense, but I play my defense, in case one gets quad rushed. If one does, I get my defense up fast, and build a counter to what hits them. If I get hit early, they duel attack the base, to draw off and choke. Usually a computer or two will draw off, which gives me ample time to redirect and assult. Once we know they attacked, one will usually assult that base, once it's scouted, and destroy. All in all, I play the defense. I rely on others for O. And no, I don't 1v1 for that reason. I suck at offense.

I'm usually more offensive when I'm either zerg or terran, but with protoss I have to stay on the defense in the beginning or else I'll get slaughtered quickly.

I usually play 1v1 so nothing really helps my choice.

yea i play 1 on 1 on a map i am extremly familiar with bc then i know how to choke opponents away from resources which keeps them from doing anything at all while i build up an army to tear them to shreads. its so funny when u can cloak stuff and run around and kill everything off except for buildings then just walk around them and whip out a few nukes lol
