The purpose of this thread is to share and request Warhammer 40k related avatar's and signatures(maybe Warhammer FB but I can't promise anything).
If you wish to request an avatar and/or signature, please post using this template.
Objects:(in this catagory please state whether or not you'd like an avatar, a signature, or both.)
Requested Artist:(please only request artists who have volunteered in this thread)
Description:(a description of what you would like to see in your avatar and/or signature)
If you would like to volunteer as an artist, please say so in this thread. It would also be best if you posted some of you previous avy's and siggy's.
Remember that the artists are doing this out of their own good will and free time, just because you requested an avatar and signature does not guarentee you will get one soon, if at all.
I hereby volunteer as an artist, pretty much all of my avatar's and signatures have been made personally by me.
some of which may be found here (http://up.kupatrix.com/members/browse/8/avatars_and_signatures).

I like warhammer related sigs mainly because the quality and availability of art for warhammer is top of the line

I have more of a question than a request for a sig (although I must admit that I am very tempted). Were all of those signatures and avatars created using Photoshop? If so, how were so many of the inversions of the images created?

Hey Darkslayer: if you're ever bored out of your mind, make me a tyranid avy-siggy pair ok?
Objects:Avatar and Signature
Requested Artist:Darkslayer633
Description:Tyranids, and preferably them winning.
by all means, take your time, or hell, don't even do it at all. But if you want to, it would be cool.

First off, thank you for informing me that they were all done by Photoshop because I didn't want to scramble for picture editing software.
And what I mean by "inversions"...well I guess I'll have to point it out. Take a look at the signature done by kong with the the three Space Marine splash panels and the text "And they shall know no fear". The picture on the far left of the signature can be found in the Space Marine Codex. However, in the Codex and likewise what I have found on the internet, the picture has been completely reversed. In the "original" picture, the Space Marine wields the chainsword in his right hand and the bolt pistol in his left with his left hand wedged in the maw of the Tyranid creature. I was wondering how the picture was inverted.

Well, I guess I could offer some assistance here.
I've done some Warhammer40K sigs before, but they have either perished into the depths of my computer, or into the void of the internet.

For those who want something different, I can do the same wavy lines and swirls effects with a WH40K character like in the 4th sig.
