The void is the default channel when you log into B.net on StarCraft original. No one can post in it, so there aren't any ad-bots. :P

The Void is the channel in Starcraft where if someone boots you or bans you out of the channel or clan, you get sent there in The Void.

jeez there's not very many helpful people here. let me guess. you're not using a proper cd key? there's 3 states for cd keys. invalid- won't let you use bnet. proper ones- normal bnet access. and what you've prob got- a good fake. you used a key generator? it'll let you game, and talk in game, but you can't talk to anyone else on bnet and will be stuck in channel 'the void'. only solution: get a new cd key. a real one. assuming you don't have one, you'll need to by a new copy of sc. you'll only need the original disk, so it'll be real cheap...

if you DO have a valid cd key then it's prob been restricted by blizzard for some violation of bnet rules. you hack? use dodgy bots? something along those lines?

...usually you get out of the void by going to the channel option, and choosing a channel to go to. Else, you have to do what Mr. Bobby says. Lo Siento.

No, Blizzard doesn't count bwlauncher as a hack anymore. They will allow them.

The Void is Blizzard's ban room. Anyone who violets their License Agreement or whatever if force to stay their until they buy a new cd-key. If you automatically put in there and can't get out it means Blizzard thinks you done something. Here a few things that might have happened...

- Use a fake cd-key
- Shared your CD-key - with a friend, bot, etcetera... Not allowed to have two accounts logged in at the same time using the same CD-key.
- Used a hack, spoofer, or any other third party program
- Someone is using hacks with your identity

When I first used a bot, (an old version of StealthBot), I used my CD-key for it and got the bot and me on Battle.net on the same time. It ended out my profile got 'frozen' like yours. I sent an e-mail to Blizzard [support@blizzard.com]. I told them about how I mess up using the bot and they replied back to me. They gave me a link to reactivate my cd-key in some webpage at http://www.blizzard.com/support/, though they said they looked it over and said I can only reactivate my account once. If you screw up again, no more chances. Well, anyway, you could e-mail them and give out an explanation how you cd-key could've been 'frozen'.

I get banned there all the time, but if you have a problem with your CD Key, go ask blizzard for another one... or just buy a whole new SC, they are only 20$ for the expansion and original. Oh and blizzard doesn't ban for name spoofing. Doesn't mean they won't.. just that they won't enforce it as highly.
