A few things in SC 2 which i know everyone wants so damn bad... to the exstent to kill... anyways this thread is the new home of good iedas anything i here or see that everyone agrees on (or most people) is posted here for more debating and idea's so this is what ive seen and heard so far:

Money Loaning: Or better known as Tributing, lets you give a selected amount of resource to your ally(S) so they can build up to whatever.

Many people say yes to this and even I do. Everytime i see a n00b thats needs resources like half way through the game as long as there not a total n00b I will give them Minerals and gas, 4000 or more, to be exact.

Thats all i see right now

hey why don't we also have underwater miners for 1 race only, and make marines able to fly with jetpacks and run along underground in special tunnels and be able to jump into cars and spaceships and flipping.........

It's a good idea, but i think that you should only be allowed to tribute at a certain price. I mean, there are problems with being able to tribute in the very early game where rushes take place.

One player could be a soley/mostly defenseive player with a huge economy, while the other is a extremely offensive player being supported by the defensive player. The offensive player could easily defeat at least one player with his substancially larger army and probably more avanced army.

So maybe you should have to actally transport resources or be only allowed to tribute when you get this building or "x" minutes have passed.

I like the transporter idea. Having to use a unit to transport resources to an ally's resource center CC w/e would limit the power of the resource lending while still making it an option...

l think blizzard should make a site or something were ppl could add ideas to starcraft 2! like sketches to new units that blizz could consider using.. but maybe they want to keep it a secret that they are making the game

cool with trading resources to your ally .. like in wc3.. l dont see any problem with it

It'd be against Blizzard policy, to accept fan ideas.

Hell, it's against most company policies.

He's right, plus it just wouldn't feel like a Blizzard game then anyway

Tribute would turn a normal match into Team Melee :/

Nah, I don't agree, Blizzards balancing system is in such a way that if there is tribute then one race can get a serious advantage early/later in the game (like the ling rush or the protoss's army of carriers earlier in the game than it would normally)

Dude, it won't change the game. Matter of fact, if they had this, I imagine anyone could do it. Those who choose not to have the advantage of more resources for themselves to keep.

And there's many ways to counter a ling rush. Those who can't are complete retards, I'm sorry. And seriously guys, microing really isn't THAT hard. All you gotta do is click around, or click away or click towards the enemy. Boxer might seem amazing, but I found that the true amazement was in his ability to macro at the same time. And all you need to beat a ling rush is micro. By itself. That's it. Not to mention, you'd be in your base at the time, so pulling off a few macro moves to repel further attacks wouldn't be too hard either.

I mean seriously, if Blizz brought that on, even by mistake, I imagine they could make it alot better.

And as for the zerg race on one team getting pimped out with a rapid uber ling rush, it's called teamwork. It's called taking out the guy who's spending all his resources on the zerg guy in his team, leaving him open and unable to harvest further resources at a quick enough rate to meet the other team that happens to know how to collaberate for once. What'd actually be cool is forming quick team matches. You'd have a quick call team member, so if one guy starts a team game, then the other guy that's online will instantly join along with him. This way, you could perfect a certain list of strategies that you and your team mate have worked with together. Team collaberation could take strategy to a whole new level in SC2, rather then crappify it, like all you ppl seem so wound up about. Hell, Korean sport might even bring on team-play as a new feature in the Star League. I'd say they just release an SC2. The worst thing that'd happen is it's worse then the original; even then not much would change, ppl would still play the original. The worst thing that could happen for these ppl might be the complete lack of anyone to play against online in SC original, due to the fact that everyone would frollock to SC2. That's the worst thing I can see happening. Actually, no wait, the worst thing that'd happen is if they don't release an SC2 at all. And that their ultimate goal is to have WoW make more sales then SC's ever made.

if they made yet another WoW expansion I would burn Blizzard HQ! :mad2:

Forget the ling rush, I'm talking mid-game here.
As you probably know, Zerg has a massive, rapidly growing economy, right?
As you also might know, Protoss have extremely powerful, yet expensive units, right?

Do you want me to elaborate, 'cause at this point, it seems fairly obvious to me. =/

I dunnu, in a 2v2 game, if someone sends minerals or gas to another player, it really doesn't change the overall power of the enemy; because one player suffers while one player gains, it balances the force out. Er, well, it might be me, but I didn't see much of an advantage or many people actually using the tributing thing in WCIII, unless they are about to lose or something.
