diablo 2 laggs to much and it is starting to piss me off, been disconnected like 158 times this weeks. why does diablo 2 lag so much???

3. You play on open, play closed.
4. You play on the wrong realm.

Do any of those apply to you? I've never really had a problem with lag.

Closed is very laggy. Games lag all the time, games drop for no reason (i was walking over to ormus and I dropped out). Its just the way things are now.

My suggest is to go slow (creating games especially) and to just be aware of your currents game lag. IE: if its heavy, just leave.

its not just him, everyone on the blizz forums are bitching about lag, i sometimes lag in games but then i just make a new one.

Maybe Bnet needs an update, they have the money new D2 servers ftw!

Yeah... they really should update the D2 bnet.
Lags like Hell in europe either.
Why dont they just... buy new servers and reset Bnet ladder?

As far as i know 7 Million people play World of Warcraft for 13$ (or smth like that).
That makes 91 Million every months + selled WoW games for 45$ + Selled older games.
Should be enough for some new servers, or not?

you would have to think of it this way too, heaps of players have alot of mules so thats taking up precious server space, that could contribute to lag and maybe duping could iono.

Mostly its duping. Mules have nothing to do with lag.

my guess is that you have ports closed on your firewall that diablo needs to function properly?
