This has been a problem that has been bothering me for a long time now. So, I have made my modded buildings for terran and protoss. Then i put them in the game, pick terran, and my CC's shadow (all others too) looks like this
6338
If you look closely, the shadow is offset, and although not shown, the \controlt.grp is offset too. Is this a problem with retroGRP, or is it just me? Its not like its a big thing, but I just want to know. Oh btw, I did not edit the shadow files.

Which program do you use? DatEd, AZero or Arse3?

u don't need to edit dat propertices at all based ur picture
that's looks like the images are changed position or aspect ratio by Retro's compiler or ur misstaked something on GIMP

just try compile ur source to grp with other GRP editors such as GRPeditor in StarDraft-Se or Shadowflare's GRP converter

BTW... Actualy i can't see different shadow from original is it changed ?

From what I've observed it's a little off from the originating object (in this case, the CC). Particularly when comparing it's shadow to others from different objects, like mineral fields. :_poke:

Btw RaidMax, cool looking stuff. Especially the green mineral fields. ;)
May I also point out the rad' vespene geyser with an unfortunate faulty appearance? *Cough*Shadow*Cough*

lol, geyser is WIP. And thanks. Just a small part of my mod you see there.

So ill find these other programs, and see if they work, could someone give me a link to them?

And a good looking one so far. :) Just a modding noob question, though... what's WIP (even though am quite sure to have heard it 'round before)?

RetroGRP (http://www.smempire.org/tutorials/RetroGRP/retrogrp.php) and StarDraft Special Edition (http://infoceptor.net/reviews/sdse.shtml), as requested. Although am almost sure that they're both at the Resource Guide (http://www.warboards.org/showthread.php?t=13285) (not really sure on SD, though). Here you go, the power of Google and it's Desktop (http://desktop.google.com/features.html) for ya. ;)

WIP means work in progress. And, I didnt not make the one you see there, though its touched up a bit. that is an old SS that i put up, Ive been trying to touch the geyser up even more, and so far its looking very good.

And thanks for the link, i have been using retro GRP, but i have never heard of stardraft special edition, so thus, cannot google it, or i would have.:P

StarDraft was somewhat one of the precursors to grafting SC-BW, from the times where to play mods you'd have to load CWAD files. :P Even before StarGraft came to be such a prime tool as was for some time. 'History class' dismissed. ;)
