Hello, is there a map editor that lets you choose what wall you want to have.
e.g if you are making an installation map, you want the walls to match and not let scmdraft give you it at random. There is always clicking on each wall until you get what you want which is what im doing now, but I would like to know if there is something you can do that is easier.

Also, I dont know if this is the right place to be asking this but the voices on the campaign Antioch Chronicles sound just like they were from starcraft with their loud sound. Where as when I record my voice it just sounds... quiet like you can tell it was from a desktop, I have to amplify it many times in order for me to hear it ingame. Is this because Auspex Turmalis was in Paradigm blue? That he had the equipment or did he have help from Blizzard to get all the voice effects that he and whoever else needed it. Such as the Firebat Hum.
-Thanks.

nope, you can't decide it, it is made to be random, saves time on the mappers part.

Dont listen to silver :P... ScmDraft 2 has a master sheet of all the terrain.

Yes but is all square am i not correct?
and i don't want him to go through the painstaking time of doing square tiles on an isometric map.

It's much less stressful to do it the good ol' fashioned way. Though I wish the terrain would appear in a certain order rather than randomly.

If the terrain placed them one after the other consecutively without repeating a specific terrain tile until the series was complete. Making the first click random and the others in that order from then on would make terraining for picky perfectionists like me and Ice a lot better.

If possible, that would be a great thing to add to a SCMD 3 or any other new editors being attempted.

As for the voices, having never done that before, I'd simply say he's got far more advanced tech than you and me for that kind of stuff.

Ah ive completed the installation map anyway. I just asked ahead to see if there was any editors like it to save me the trouble but there wasnt.
I have done the voices, I have got them amplified like the Antioch Chronicles voices aswell, looked up Dynamic Processing, Normalizing and Noise Reduction tutorials. Helps alot, my recordings have improved very much!

But I will never get it to sound like their quality. I mean they are a band aswell, so they have equipment that I dont see the point in buying for making a starcraft campaign :P

technically when SC was made the technology would be old compared to the stuff now.
I think randomness is good in maps, it keeps them interesting.

Yes but it should be switchabble (i hope you understand). Latter i will write an editor, which can do this (but it will can only create .chk files, but this isn't matter), just if someone won't write one before me. The last one has the most chance.

Write an editor, eh? Good luck with that. :)

SCMDraft has a terrain feature called Subtile. Two-three clicks, and you can turn this: http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/8279/prmoo1uv6.jpg
Into this: http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/3261/prmoo2jr1.jpg

It's sad to see no one knows these stuff.
To use subtile, just hold down CTRL and click a tile, than select how you want it to look, and than just left click anywhere where that tile is without holding down CTRL.
