Now I'm going to go throught the process of testing the balance of the units in our mod.
AqoTrooper's Balancer underestimates mineral/gas costs and overestimates supply cost. I've already used it and adjusted for those though, but I think the balance still needs to be refined a little. I'll just post the .exe up here.
Remember, it isn't done yet so only download it if you want to help balance it. There's a write-up describing the backstory and changes, then hopefully a campaign along the way. But balance first. :)
Usually I'd suspect it's best to test units when you test them as a whole race against other races. Testing one unit at a time will never really get you anywhere since, what may be crap/average/balanced on it's own, could turn out to be totally imbalanced/useless when combined with unit X or Y.

Well, if you want to play the whole mod and critique it, send me a PM! I'll get it right to you.
I would do so but I'm not that good at balance. You're best bets would be some of the more experienced SC players. (I'm a backstory/fluff man, myself)
I was merely suggesting that testing one unit at a time might be a waste of time.
In fact, it would be a good idea to attach the mod to your first post so people can test it for you. However, if you don't want it in public, I'm sure someone will make themselves known.

Why don't you use Aqo's unit balancer that does 90% of the work for you ?

Yes Ago's unit balancer is helpful. I'll just attach it.
But just be careful with adding shields since you can't upgrade them like the protoss can with terran units and plus they take full damage regardless of damage type, so therefore they are less valuable than HP and Protoss SP.

Oh we know. They're supposed to be like that. It's part of the story. (It reflects the Terran's limited grasp of imitated Protoss Technology.)
