Shifters Campaign Install on Mac? [Archive]

Hello. This is my first post here. I downloaded the Shifters campaign for mac but when I try to use the installer it says I already have the files (which I dont). I would appreciate any advice as I would like to try the campaign. Thanks in advance.

And am sorry that I can't help ya more with your predicament here, but my OS simply ain't a Mac'. :( Perhaps other Mac' users of these parts, such as AJ, Fratt' or even Modred will drop by and be able to help out.

Installer? Did they update the campaign to have a installer now? My version doesnt have that, just plain old files in rar format.

If you can, how about you manually move the maps into your maps folder and ensure that the victory trigger also contains the load next map trigger.

But then again, i really dont know what you mean by "Installer", but i might know what you mean by that.

Try and PM them requesting assistance for instance. Just be sure to 'blame' me for it in advance. ;)
And try AJ for last... really, I ain't kiddin'! Just 'cause he really 'wuvs' me. :P

Edit add: 'Azn, he's talking about the mod running file, whichever may be it's format in Mac's, not the maps themselves.

Actually I am talking about the whole ball of wax. After downloading and decompressing I get a Vice installer and thats it. No folder with files or maps or anything, and the Vice installer wont install anything. It says I already have the files :P

Eh, I thought it to be similar to my dl'ed Shifters archive. It had the campaign maps and the mod executable, along with some other files (mostly an *.url and read me's if recalling it right). If yours is different, than I haven't got the faintest clue. :confused:

Have you PM'ed Fratt' (http://www.warboards.org/private.php?do=newpm&u=2487) or Modred (http://www.warboards.org/private.php?do=newpm&u=254) for that matter? If you do, I'm pretty sure that they'll kindly answer to your predicament (provided they know how to solve it). ;)

On a gaming environment scale... definitely. Now on a working scale, that might not be that truthfully accurate. ;)

Eh, just was pulling your chain. ;) I happen to agree... even if Mac's are less spoil proof as Windows OS's (alas) aren't.
