Video Card drivers suddenly become corrupted

Last night I went to do something on PS7 but my computer started up in 640x480x16 colours and no error message. In itself, it's not so much of a problem 'cos it takes 30 seconds for me to re-install the drivers. But is there any reason it becomes suddenly corrupted?

All I did yesterday was 1 or 2 games of SC, then on WB and AIM.

Not that it matters, but what is PS7?

Also, I might have had the same problem you are experiencing. When you reinstall the drivers, does that fix the problem? And has it only happened once?

Yes. And I call PS7 Photoshop 7. :P

there are two possibilities that may be :
1. virus
2. the version of windows or something else in the registry could go rong and the drivers could be removed or replaced
