No cd crack

1st, does anybody know where I can download a working lod v1.10 no cd crack? I tried a few searches on google and found rubbish.

2nd, What is Blizzards policy on no-cd cracks?

On both accounts. No-CD cracks are considered hacking, and thus are not approved by Blizzard or Warboards. Warboards hopes to maintain a working relationship with Blizzard, and such hacking discussions might jeopardize said relationship.

Well I wouldn't call it hacking. I am simply playing a game I purchased without a cd.

Technically if you do actually own the CD, then you should be entitled to do whatever you please. But Blizzard doesn't condone such things, that's why I answered the way that I did. No offense was intended.

The reason Blizzard doesn't like no CD cracks (noting the word "crack") is because, as legitimate as your intentions may be, peace_machine, there are a lot of people out there who would use such programs to pirate Blizzard's software.

If you would like to be legitimate for using a no cd for games you can follow these instructions:

Get Alcohol 120% (its a CD Copier, Burner, Disc Image creator thing -- its the best)

Make a perfect copy of D2 LOD ... I forget how to do it with 120% Blizzard games use Securom I believe for Disc Protection, so you have to set it to copy it right... Meh.

Sorry I cant be of more use.

Anyways, after you do that get Daemon-Tools to load the disc image as an actual CD Rom drive...

Poof, No-CDs needed :) I do this for Starcraft and Diablo II: LoD as well as random other things.

And the best part is... You dont need the original CDs ^_~ I dont even know if I still have my LoD disc, last I knew it was with my brother o____o;;
