I think that there should be a Starcraft 2. Not only would this bring about huge amounts of revenue, but it would be fun too. The Xel'Naga should return, along with a fifth race, with the capability of transforming the terrain to their advantage. Just a thought.

Welcome to WarBoards. I've never thought of it being a great idea to move to five races, but i do really like the idea of terrain transformation. Got a bunch of tanks siege-ing your base? Make a valley right under them and watch them plummet into eternal darkness. That would be really cool.

Heh. Just to let you know, Blizzard doesn't go here and even if they did, they don't except fan ideas. It's against their policy.

Even if blizz did read the forums and used fan ideas, they wouldnt need to to know that they should make a starcraft II. Look at all the benefits and it just doesnt make sense for them not to!
1: they wouldnt just leave the BW storyline hanging like that, it wouldnt make sense.
2: Considering the success of sc and bw, why shouldnt they? it would sell incredably well.

I hope they don't read the forums. We already know the ideas by Blizzard are awesome and original. Most of our ideas aren't too original. It would be better if Blizzard's employee's minds wouldn't be tainted with our ideas.

Some of the stuff here is good, ( i think that terrain thing is a great idea, maybe not for SC, but still ) although a lot of it has been repeated and changed a lot. I think we can trust Blizzard to (hopefully) put out a great game.

I don't think they are just leaving the storyline hanging. I do believe they said that StarCraft: Ghost will pickup the story line. Well, at least somewhere in the game cause i know you go to Mar Sara, and that's kinda gone. Anyway, they said that it lead the story to the next SC RTS game. :)

Blizzard does not go to forums like this and will not read people's ideas. It is against the law, as they can be sued for copying an idea, so they avoid it altogether. Any emails recieved by them about ideas are immediately deleted. Sorry, but they cannot even see your ideas.

That isn't true. They can see our ideas and use it a game because we haven't copyrighted them. But your right in that they don't go to forums to get ideas. To become a game developer you have to be pretty creative, or else you won't be chosen for the job.
