Now, I have yet to think of a storyline (Mainly because I just spent the last two hours reading up on Warcraft history [I'm still not done]). I think that there's a big possibilty for this to be amazing, or a huge failure. First things first, I don't have World of Warcraft, I don't have the money to pay for it. I respect those who don't have WoW, as well as those who do have it and are getting BC (W00T for nether drakes :P). We will be using the Blood Elves and we are going to be using the Draenei, but it will be complicated (for the Draenei), they have yet to come into contact with the Nightelves therefore any sightings and encounters would be...at least interesting. Battles would be inevitable considering how closely they resembled the Eredar Warlocks that invaded with the Burning Legion.
Anyways, we would be using the specific classes defined for each race, but we will not be using the specific spells defined for each class, as this is a RP not WoW. As for pets and mounts, you wouldn't have a pet red wyrmling if you're a gnome rogue would you? So keep it reasonable. Mounts, if it's a class specific mount then you may not use it (unless you are the class). If it's a horse, and you're a tauren, you wouldn't be able to ride it, would you? If you're too big for something then you can't ride it. If it's too small for a human to ride, but a dwarf or a gnome could ride it, such as a mechanostrider then keep it as such. If it's a mount found only in Kalimdor and you are in Azeroth, you wouldn't have it. We will also be using the new Draenei and Blood Elf mounts though I know almost nothing about them, as hardly anything has been revealed save a few screenshots. Most of this is common sense, though it brings me to my next point. I shouldn't get the excuse, "Well sure, I was born in Stormwind, but I went to Kalimdor and got the raptor" it's crap, realisitically one wouldn't travel all the way across the ocean unless there is a VERY good reason for it (Such as leaving with Jaina and going to Theramore, however you wouldn't be going back would you?).
Now once I decide on a story all of the above details will be pounded out, I don't think a good RP would start with all the players scattered across the planet, so I'll probably have us on one main continent. Also, if you have any ideas for a story be sure to post them, or if you have any requests on things I should change, then feel free to PM me or post them on this thread.
