I am thinking of making an RP where you fight each other. There will be two teams and truthfully you fight each other. I am wondering whether you want to fight in Medieval Times, futurisitc times, the presnet, or other. Say what time period in a post if you vote other.
I will vote medieval.

I don't care. I prefer futuristic because of the gadgets, but medieval or present will work fine.
Unless there's a good story I could care less where it takes place. Senseless fighting might prove fun for a while but it'll eventually die away. Once you have a good storyline, again I don't care what time line because I'll do any of them. Battle in any timeline has advantages and disadvantages so it's just about using them to your advantage.
So I'll vote "Other".

Ya, I agree with iHawk. If there's no story it's gonna suck. Just be careful who you let in, we have a few godmodders lurking around. You also need to set some DEFINATE ground rules, like no killing off characters unless they've talked to each other, AND you about it. Just a few suggestions.

Yeah, there will be a story for sure, so do not worry. It just depends on the setting, and that is why I am asking.
spelljammer is an example of one of those, it rolled over and died quickly so i've lost faith in tvt rps like these
The main hurdle is the actual RPers, I'd trust many of the RPers here to play fair anf realistically, but I'm not sure about some of the newer RPers as I still don't know them. There are also those lurking around that would god mod, as Biohazard said. I'm not naming names as I think everyone deserves the benefit of a doubt. Once this is made you'll need to govern it very well or it'll disolve into chaos. If you need help doing that I'm sure that there are at least a few RPers that could spare some extra time.

This seems intresting... I may RP in this one if I have the time. But you need the time period first do ya? I vote futuristic.

Anything can work, but dude, its been done and usually dies quickly.....very quickly
I might jump in and have a go. I'd vote future but like the others, I don't mind too much.

Flametrooper, I think you should take a stab at writing the story yourself. After all, you are the GM, not all of us. I think it would be good practice for plot writing.

ALL OF THE ABOVE!
Seriusly, time travel! Like oin timeslitters! So we can only use the tech present in the area/timeperiod!

Hey... I am sooo sorry dude. I didn't mean it. I told you so.
How many times do i have to kiss your b....
LOL, i think i like the time idea.. everywhere or something. lets incorporate them all
but yes, as this has been tried before. ( i claim killing the last one. not really but o well its probably my fault anyways.) You need to keep up on it and police it heavily with strict rules for PvP

Haha lq, I wasn't talking about you. :p
About the time travel, it's amazing done right, but sort of... not amazing when it's done wrong. I myself love the Time Travel Theme but like I said, it as to be done right.
Good luck writing the story, I'll look forward to the end result.

Okay, almost there. I think it is for futuristic times although I like DarkMirror's idea.
