i have a radeon 9200 (128 MB ram)
i used to always be able to ALT+TAB out of Starcraft, do whatever, then ALT+TAB back and it worked fine. now every time i alt tab out, when i go back in later, the colors are either messed up, or they mess up within like 10 seconds, so the game looks like this:

it's pissing me off, does anyone know a solution to this problem? as i said, i could always alt+tab with no problems, as can my friends... now this happens :(

Did you change your resolution on your monitor lately?

i tried minimizing and maximizing it again, and it doesn't work still :(

WK is gonna pop a blood vessel when he finds this! Run for your lives!
:tu:
Anyway, about your problem,
The same thing happens with me in Bnet when I minimize and maximize the chat thingy except it only does that to advertisments. Then, when it changes to another advertisment, the discoloration goes away. When it goes from that screen before the game to the game, does it change back to normal? O_o

no. i can be in chat, then join a game, play a game, go to the end-of-game-debriefing, and go back to chat, and it's still messed up colors :-/
what's funny is, the first time i minimize and then maximize... the colors are fine, but within a few seconds, wherever i move the mouse, at the location of the mouse, the colors start messing up, until after a few seconds the whole screen's screwed up...

that USED to be what it did to me every time, until yesterday, and now the whole screen messes up :-/

Becuase:
A.) You made a thread in the wrong section of the forum.
B.) You just double posted. Use the edit button next ime you need to add more on to your previous post.

It has happened to me before but not blue. For me the colors invert. But if I keep minimizing starcraft, then the inversion inverses back to regular.

You may have to update or reinstall you NVIDIA video card.
Oh, BTW. I have moved this thread to a more appropriate forum.

Demon Child, he said he had a Radeon, which is a chipset made by ATI, not nVidia.
mystical_ice, did you install or update any hardware, software, and/or drivers before this started happening? Also, if you don't have the latest radeon drivers, download them here (http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html) and see if that helps.

hey thanks for the help guys...
Battlecruiser: yeah, the colors invert for me too, just when i took the screenshot and then exited SC and pasted it in "paint", it showed up as blue ;) but yeah, the colors do invert.
Demon_Child and Exedore: i downloaded the latest drivers when i built my computer 2 or 3 months ago. it sucks becuase it's a 100% gaming machine, yet it does shit like this, whereas my Pentium 350 will run SC and minimize/maximize with no problem, yet i've got a $2500+ gaming machine that won't :P
Uhm, if this ever happens in game (IE: you can access the ingame starcraft video controls) the best way to fix it, at least its always worked for me is to pause/unpause the game (not very nice for other players) but if you go into the Video and the adjust the gamma the colors will reset.
Its certainly annoying... I find it happens sometimes when things try to always be on top -- make sure if your running anything in the background it happens to be minimized, or at least not active -- like web sites trying to load banners and such I find sometimes screwed with it, since the browser window wanted to be on top but couldnt.
I dont know, just one of those funky computer problems xD
