This RP will not be 100% historically accurate, but Königstein Castle was held by the Germans in World War II and used as a POW holding area. All other information is speculation and narration intended only to produce an interesting RP.

Königstein Castle
It is Mach, 1945, and the Nazi war machine has all but crumpled under the massive Allied advances of the East and West. North Africa has been liberated, France has been liberated, Belgium has been liberated, and many others have been released from the German oppression that has held them in thrall for more than six years. Even so, the war is not yet finished and the German Army still presents a great threat. Königstein Castle is located near Dresden has served as a POW camp and base for the Nazis since the beginning of the war, and has been 'obtaining' information for the Nazi high command. Situated on a high rise and surrounded by clear fields, it is an imposing fortress and would hold out many weeks in the event of a siege. All is not well for the Allies in this fortress. Since the invasion of Normandy, the German Army has been acquiring prisoners of war and is home to almost two hundred such men. Among them are two prominent high ranking officers, Amercian Army General Douglas Stilson and Russian Field Marshal Vasily Zhukanov. Both of these men are privy to very important Allied secrets and battle plans, and without a doubt present a very real possiblity of compromising the Allied advance and handing the war back into the hands of the Germans. Where they are held is not known, and they may have already given up their secrets, even so the Office of Strategic Services has elected to have a squad of Allied troops drop behind enemy lines and attempt to rescue the officers, or silence them in the event they cannot be released. The mission contains only volunteers, and they have to be highly skilled and recommend by their commanding officers. Gathering at a captured airfield in France, the squad is preparing for their long and extremely dangerous mission. Only a few are going to come back, if even that. Are you prepared for your assignment, soldier?

Players may be either the Allied squad dropping into the countryside outside Königstein Castle, or the German troopers stationed inside the Fortress. The objectives for the Germans are to stop the Allies from rescuing or killing the imprisoned Allied Officers. One of the Allied players will have to be the Team Leader, as I will be playing as a German Officer. And whoever is the Team Leader will have to PM me for some more information. I am not bothering with much of a character sheet introduced your characters through your first two or three posts.

(No one else has joined yet, so lets spice things up a bit Joker)

The convoy rolled across the flatlands under the castle, Karl riding in the lead Kampfwagon.Cigarette perched in his hand, he pondered the precarious situation the Reich was in. This convoy was the remanants of the 16th SS Panzergrenadiers who had been in severre fighting on the Russian front. They suffered heavy losses, and this castle was their fall back point. He flicked the butt away and straightened his black uniform as the Kampfwagon rolled up to the huge oaken, iron-barred door on an inclining causeway. A trooper approached, MP-40 clutched in hand. Without even thinking to look at the man, he held out his identification card.

Sturmfuhrer Leichtburg
SS Specialist Officer
Clearance Level - 5

"Come right in, Herr Sturmfuhrer" The soldier said as several on the battlements opened the massive gate. The vehicles rolled into the courtyard, battle scarred tanks and halftracks almost out of fuel. Squads hopped out of their transports, looking to their leaders for orders. Karl stayed in the Kampfwagon, and ordered the trooper to drive him to the main keep.
