As a potential tie-in with our merchandise (http://www.warboards.org/showthread.php?t=2118) and logo design (http://www.warboards.org/showthread.php?t=2125) threads, I'm wondering what ideas you guys can come up with for a mascot (or indeed whether we really need one).

Would the mascot be dependant on the logo?..i mean if we have a logo that has swords or weapons of war or something to that effect ..the mascot would be weird if it was a puppy dog ...(al though Carnage's puppy is cool ;) )

Something cute and fun, but not annoying or tiresome. I would have a hard time believing a mascot in a forum, but it's entirely possible.

No offense, but that's really too much explaining for a mascot. It would be almost impossible to convey that in an image alone. Maybe just a squirrel.

I'm thinking something that is somewhat fantastic but not quit a denguin...how about el chupacabra. Of course, that would be open to interpretation as to what it would look like...

Somehow pink elephants seems too cliche.

The idea of incorporting some image or concept of the penguin seems like a good starting point from where to begin.
