I would like some items involved in SC II like WC III, and I really really want the editor to have ability editor, because i never used ability editor and really want to use 1... I would also like heroes (even if it should not come in melee) to learn "hero" ability and use items:cry: :P WHEN IS SC II COME LIKE THIS

Horrible horrible....... horrible idea.
Making StarCraft into another WarCraft game is a no no. No heroes, just plain macroing like the Original StarCraft. Maybe with the exception in UMS mod.
There might be more advance things to use in the new editor, like a new ability editor, but no using items, just abilities. Again, it will ruin what makes StarCraft what it is. Keep all the WarCraft ideas in WarCraft.

Though I do imagine they'd have an editor that's even more advanced than however kick ass WC3's was.

Solution to the Hero Problem:
make the editor able to make as many different units as you want, like you can have 2 or 3 medics, with different abilities and names. They don't need to look different, but it's the fact that you only get one to change is what makes people want heroes. also the fact that they look identical and can become mistaken for other units. maybe add a color editor to fix that.
maybe it could be like in red alert were the one unit that get alot of kills get like and upgrade himself and get better ....
and no heros, but maybe more abilites to normal units like the steam pack

You mean, a pack that carries teh steam to randomly shoot out gratuitously at the most WRONG moments in time for like no logical reason whatsoever to actually aid in battle?!
And incredibly gory sacrificing of balance through some highly sick religion for the sake of making each individual unit more kewl and awesome and painful?!
Nah, I'd prefer that to be left to custom map making. People who wanna screw around with that kinda stuff can be left to drown themselves in it while leaving others, who actually like melee, to play melee maps in peace.

Yes, keep WC in WC and SC in SC. I'm a fan of both Blizzard games, but you have to draw the line at some point.
What Starcraft Really needs!!!
Improved graphics with a 3D view.
Better micro management tools (Like formations and attack attitudes)
More doodads (Maybe weather, i.e fog, rain, thunder)
New Units, new concepts, perhaps a fourth race all with equal balancing
And the most important of all.... a stronger editor. One similar to the current WC3 editor, one that would reduce the need of third party programs to create a exceptional map.

More interactive doodads, like the doors in installation maps.

What about a editor like a programming language, which allows the user to define variables and functions?

wc3 has both.

also in wc3, but with hero system.

you purists. starcraft had items already, they were just not used in melee. apart from minerals and gas.

You mean like psi emitters and data disks? I think people are talking about usable items or items that give bonuses when you have them.

curse you people... = (
This is Starcraft, not warcraft, people like this game because it is not warcraft, if they liked warcraft, then go over there.
I don't like it when people compare and say how SC should be like WC :(
psi emitter is like an item where it can be used, it's in that brood war mission. You just have to set a lot of triggers, i agree with Kismet, MACRO!!! ^^
You know hunter killers, unclean one, and w/v? Yeah, they should have these extra units which are just different grades of a unit. Like there are two types of hydralisks you can create when you build a hydralisk den, a hydralisk, and a hunter killer, hunter kill costs more and have more health. Or let's say 2 types of marines, one shoots and moves really fast but has minimal damage and health, the other has more health and damage.
They really should have more units in this so called "swarm" which has like 3 ground units that can actually attack. And 1 model of tanks in the terran army is simply just lame.
blizzard isnt the one to make immersive and realistic stuff.
people are not going to learn 100 kinds of tank, with their minor differences.
unit upgrades.. maybe. they'll just become heroes of kind.

I'll be happy if they had 2 types of tank and one more spacecraft :P
drone/scv
zergling/firebat
hydralisk/marine
ultralisk/tank
defiler/medic
queen/science vessel
mutalisk/wraith
guardian/battlecruise
devourer/valk
overlord/dropship
scourge/-----
--------/ghost
--------/vulture
--------/goliath
Look at the comparison and variety of units, then compare what each is capable of, think of how useful each of the units are and you'll realise how limited choices of actually "attacking" units zerg has.

It's not the choices that make Zerg a very effective race. It's their ability to massively produce many units at a time and then using them in conjunction with a few spell casters. For example, massing hydralisks, bring them to the terran base with some defilers and dark swarm. Depending on the situation it can be an easy win. There are many such combinations, making the zerg a very effective race.
On the note with unit upgrading to 'heroes', don't marines (if they get enough kills without dying) turn into veterans and such?
starcraft counts kills but it has no effect in gameplay.
