Alright, if there was a collector's edition for SC2, then I'd personally choose (as the bonus features to be contained within the box):

- 2 starter decks of the StarCraft trading card game (WoW's apparently got one now and it's appearing in the expansion collector's edition. So might as well, eh?); of course, there'd also be highly rare cards out there that can only appear in these starter decks, which is what makes it all the more fun
- A hydronaught and goliath (or sentinel or saboteur), high quality build-and-paint collectible model
- A lurker and adderlisk (or kingdralisk or juggernaught) high quality build-and-paint collectible modle
- A vindicator and avenger (or famine archon or burning archon) high quality build-and-paint collectible modle

- A full terrained battlemat (20 different versions in each box) for a warhammer 40k style of game, complete with a score of figures of each race of either...

For Terran: A squad of marines, their leader, and some back-up medics; a squad of firebats, their leader, and one or two back-up Cerberus close range tanks (cerberus may not actually appear in normal games, though they can be used in customizable maps); a siegetank and vulture squadron, complete with numerous light-infantry marines (these guys're too weak to be useful in an actual game in SC2, though it'd bring back the idea behind the light-marines that was first provided in SC: Ghost, and it also might work in a warhammer type setting, with their multitude of additional on-field skills

For Zerg: A multitude of zerglings and a terralisk leader (terralisk is essentially a "super zerg", may only appear in customizable maps, once again); a squad of hydralisks and a few artillery lurkers; one or two kingdralisks, and one or two ultralisks.

The zerg set would additionally feature assorted broodlings and infested terran.

For Protoss: A zealot sqaudron and one or two high templar; a few dark templar and some shadow dancers (shadow dancers are "unique" female dark templars, and don't really have any point in appearing in the full game except in customizables, once again); two archons and a famine archon (kicks unbelievable ass, but is better off if you continue to move it around while killing the enemy; if you don't move it, it dies, just like in the game) as well as two chaos archons; two dark archons and a burning archon (kicks unbelievable ass but is better off if you lure the enemy too it; if you move it, it starts dying or loses health, just like in the game) as well as two chaos archons

- StarCraft issue #1 magazine, promoting all the kickass starcraft crap including several totally kickass fan fics

- Starcraft DVD, featuring a full feature CGI film of the events of the original starcraft and expansion in deep and dramatic detail, including director's commentary, special features, games, trivia and more
- StarCraft Monopoly and Risk board games, just for kicks
- StarCraft manga, featuring such hot female characters as kerrigan and nova placed in provocative situations and scenes
- A map of the milky way in the 26th century
- A deep look into the history up until that point in time (SC universe, of course)
- A game manual
- 1 (one) SC2 4-disk game (once the client is installed, you no longer need the CDs)
- A small, previewed, MINI-offline-demo of WoS as well as a kick ass trailer
- A retelling of the making of StarCraft2 and the original, featuring the producers and programmers alike in a sort of reality show, similair to that of such shows as "Big Brother" and "Flavour of Love", only it'd be "Flavour of the next kickass game" or something.... ya
- A free StarCraft: Ghost, that allows you to play through what they'd managed to create so far... it's free cuz it sucks, even though it'd add onto the price XD
- A StarCraft T-shirt that says, either "kiss me, I play starcraft", "I play starcraft, so I'm cool and awesome, so there", or "I survived starcraft"... or other such terminology you'd find relating to some game or other on Z-stuff
- A StarCraft hoodie sweatshirt that says the same things
- StarCraft women's underwear that says the same things
- StarCraft men's underwear that says the same things
- A starcraft coffee mug/beer mug that says the same things, etc., etc., etc.

- A plain deck of cards (not trading cards), that features starcraft pictures, including rules for a witty cardgame that could somehow relate to starcraft
- A book of witty starcraft related jokes you could share with all your little friends

- A code for your own full set of marine battlearmor, or hydralisk exoskeleton, or zealot plating that your character in WoW could recieve; and, if your lucky, you might even recieve a free, epic weapon for level 60, or 70 if the expansion is out, depending on your class (warriors and paladins recieve warp blades, rogues recieve dual psi-blades, all casters recieve the "psionic storm" spell, and hunter's get a gauss rifle or vindicator's electrostatic, lightning gun)

- a scientific catalogue featuring detailed explanations on concepts that cover all the high-tech niches of StarCraft... mostly the terran; but alot of it also covers protoss tech in a more far off sense (such as time travel, ie.); for the nerds
- a smaller culture catalogue featuring some description of the cultures of each race; also for the nerds

- Super uber mint, holofoil, golden and platinum laced, mint condition, uber piece of uberness that has the name "starcraft" on it
- Various starcraft magnets
- Stickers
- glitter and glue

- a ballcap-style hat that says "StarCraft 2 to the Max" on it
- your very own, glow-in-the-dark, plastic warpblade! zomg! Now you can not only rock out on lightsaber duels with your friends, you can rock out on WARPBLADE duels! It even has kickass sound effects.
- A nerf gun that kinda looks like a guass rifle... fires pretty far though, and even has a sorta rapid fire mode; part of blizz's inevitable project to get you kids active...
- Another gauss rifle, except this one's a water gun

- Cute little (sorta chibi style) beanie babies that feature the starcraft characters including (but not limited to) a zergling, marine, Jim Raynor, Kerrigan (human and zerg), Nova (once again, part of blizz's attempt to actually make use of all the work they put into SC: Ghost) and various others
- a screwy little dice rolling starcraft board game (where the goal is to get the end of the board); totally biting the dust compared to SC Risk, and SC Monopoly (where you can employ such unique strategies new to the game as kerrigan's tentacle rape porn, in order to buy the universe)
- A golden marine (or a marine wearing golden armor) that waves a flag with "Blizzard Entertainment" on it
- A female (Gasp!) marine action figure... she looks the same as a "normal" marine, except the face is a woman's... she also says things like "Foo', I'll slap a lawsuit on yo ass fo' saying I aint a normal marine, yo!"

- StarCraft soundtrack, including new songs about starcraft featured by such "violent" bands as System of a Down, Metallica, and Offspring (cuz they still happen to kickass)... or others; blizz has the money to hire out these bands after all

And... Slick's ideas:
- Movie style posters that are actually for your wall in your room; they look like an advertisement for a movie that you'd find on the line up to get into a theater (Age of Mythology had one for it's collector's addition) and feature dramatic scenes representing the different factions of each race like the Dominion, or Raynor's raiders, Kerrigan, the zerg swarm, Daggoth, Zeratul and his dark templar and others...
- premium Bnet icon
- developer diaries
- video interviews
- SC2 artwork
- SC original and broodwar games, cuz ppl keep losing their old copies; come on, admit it

And... that's it for now.

Solid:
1.) If you have enough free time and dedication to starcraft to come up with that list, I seriously consier you reevaluate your life and your primary goals and priorities.
2.) I completely and wholeheartedly agree with you.
