I'll start the contest so the hereafter rules are as follows

Rules:

Particapants must name the song and artist that sung it from the clip posted.

The first particapant to get both the song and artist right will post another song clip.

Song must not be too obscure and should be at least somewhat guessable.

The title of the song must not be in any clip posted.

Clips should be under 500k and should probably be in .wav format so there's no problems with codecs. (A 3 second clip is about 500k in .wav which is enough)



Other than that have fun with it!

Darn it, the best game thread and we cant keep it going. Anyway my last ridle was Damien Marley - All Night i guess it really was a bit hard.. :/

So my new riddle, this song was a fucking hit 5-6 years a go, everybody knows it and it even has a video clip. Sorry to go a bit against the rules with .mp3's but theyre twice as small and also streamable.
If you cant guess the artist, the title is enough.

Correct, the song is by Smash mouth.
Smash Mouth is an alternative rock band from San Jose, California that formed in 1994, the band is comprised of Steve Harwell (lead vocalist), Greg Camp (guitarist/songwriter), Paul De Lisle (bassist), and new drummer since early 2006, Jason Sutter (replacing Michael Urbano, who left due to creative differences). Their hit songs include "Walkin' on the Sun" (1997) and "All Star" (1999). Focused at times playing "neo-ska" music, the band has adopted retro styles spanning several decades of popular music, as well as performing covers of popular songs such as The Monkees' "I'm a Believer"

It's an old song, probolly > 8-16 years ago or something. It was an old song I like when I was a kid, I just had to post it. I tried and didn't get the title of the song in the clip, even though it was the best part :\

Dude, great song! "School's Out" by Alice Cooper. It's a lot older than sixteen years, though. That song had to have come out in the early 70's. I also downloaded that "All Night" one you put up and I'm kind of digging it. :)
