What's kind of funny is that I'd be excited to get back to school from work.
Because frankly, school is a cakewalk and even if you study 4 hours a day, you're still not doing as much work as in the real world. Yes, I'm bitter. Watching people get 2 weeks "off" of 20 hour work weeks for a single holiday is embittering when you get -gasp- one day off.

i sing in a few classical choirs...i also know what it's like to work a fifty hour workweek, and I know that what I do now (21 credits + study time + semi-professional singing group ~ 50 hours a week). sometimes sitting in class can be easier than the type of work you do in the real world, though. i am prepared for 60+ hour weeks once I get a job as an analyst
also darm that's awesome that you like backpacking, what kinds of places have you been to? i'm going backpacking the beginning of thanksgiving break, in just a few days
