Betrayals... (Do you think killing other players is right?)

Do you think it's right for players to betray? (as in enter a game and kill other players for gold and anything else left laying around...)

I think it is... Because if your not careful to defend your stuff I should be allowed to run by and take it :p... Even if it means you didn't want cow king dead :/...

I know it's a bitch of a problem but in reality not everything is as you like it and you always have to secure your stuff...

I personally rarely go about killing others cow kings and running like hell or quitting... But sometimes I like to turn mad and starts taking on all the other players just to grab a few more items b4 I go...

It's a game, you can do what you like. It's a bit harsh, but rules are rules - players should always be prepared for someone in their party to turn on them. If you're playing with a high level character leading a large group of new level characters around then it's even nastier and you are scum for attacking them, but fair's fair - they chose to travel with you, they accept the dangers. Of course, the consequences of this can be that other players will learn of your backstabbing reputation and turn on you, or not go partying with you, but that's the price you have to pay. Again, it's a game, you can do what you like - anyone who says otherwise reads too much into these things.

I reckon it makes the game more surrel, dare u accompany a group of harsh looking barbarians, or not to risk not aquiring any treasures lol

I think it's really stupid and kind of an asshole-ish thing to do. I'm just trying to play a game here, I don't want somebody to swoop into my game and kill me in one hit because they're 20 levels higher than me, and then get some of my shit stolen. When you're a casual gamer and only play a few hours a week, something like that can really set you back timewise. I really don't what's so much fun about doing it anyway.

Set a level cap for your game and don't play hardcore with people you don't know.

Gold is so incredibly easy to get. If anyone tries to kill you just for gold in softcore, just laugh at them. They are probably noobs.

Kill one good guy can get you money faster then hours of fighting monsters :p... although I know this is dumb when u kinda have to kill monsters 4 lvls anyway :p... But it's good to gamble off...
